If anything it will be similar to how The Witcher 3 did it. I doubt they're going to make it hardcore or anything. Game seems pretty mainstream in that respect.

They will probably cave and put TPP back or someone will mod it. You can customize a character in TES games but may never leave first person. For Cyberpunk though, we have the outfits making an impact with rep and stats, we'll probably have some mirrors and footage of our character. The same way you can't see yourself all the time but still dress to impress. I get the logic but at the same time including customization at all beyond clothing is a bit weird.

Maybe the theory of V being a clone/cyborg is true and so having customization makes sense for when we confront the copy.
