Yeah I guess, I only saw the 2003 version of the anime and I haven't read the manga in full so I don't know how the proper ending goes but I bet it's decent considering Arakawa's a good writer. Funnily enough FMA also ran in an Enix magazine so there could also be an FMA/TWEWY crossover.
