Problem is we humans (mostly) know when to fucking stop killing something and engage in diplomacy, either due to manpower or economic reasons or someone will just feel pity. Krogan moderates on the other hand would probably argue for using weapons of mass destruction instead of traditional warfare to completely wipe out something.
