Any of you lads played this?
Remnants: From the Ashes
Yes. I just arrived to the jungle world and I'm fighting some floating bitch who's imitating the Moonlight Butterfly.
I think it's a very good game, one of the best releases of 2019, but I'm the kind of person who believes that Dark Souls 2 and Nioh are good games so take my opinion with a big grain of salt.
great game, grinded it 2 times to completion with some friends, dropped it cos of WoW classic now
Is this game fun solo? I keep hearing you need friends to play it with.
I've been doing it solo and with friends. You can play it 100% alone, the game is pretty well balanced
This is one of the most pleasant surprises I've had playing a game. I can see this being a sleeper hit
Worth $40? Worst case scenario I refund it
it's boring solo and you can't play on hard
If anything, having more people makes it harder.
I like it solo more. It's harder; with other players it gets too easy.
It's mediocre. Some of the enemy designs feel uninspired like the boss that's literally just an evil triangle (that summons skulls too for whatever reason)
The cutscenes are ugly as fuck too
This. Although I play it whenever I get stuck in queue, like right now.
I'm on the two butterflies. They are kicking my arse, looking forward to killing them so I can get my slayer set for my Sporebloom gun.
Absolutely. It feels like a 60$ game. Code Vein has no excuses now being as jank as it is
ITT: shills
The game is mediocre at best.
Nah, it's only real flaw is the boss design where every boss has a gorillion adds.
Seethe friendless faggot
My only issue with the bosses is that a fair number of them are literally just boss versions of regular/elite enemies.
y, although I am stuck at the undead asshole. Anyone has any tips to kill him? He rapes me with his melee.
If it's your first time meeting him, just skip and go to Corsus. The game does a bad job explaining, but you can betray him later on if you wish to fight him. His gear check is much higher than the zone right after, you aren't really meant to fight him yet .
>b-b-but it's fun with friends!
Don't forget to pet the dog.
It sure is, sucks to be you
The joke is that any game is fun with friends
Level design is shit, melee combat is meh. Gameplay is fluid, art direction is good and I had fun talking with the NPCs.
>B-but it's fun with f-f-friends!
Which game isn't?
The game isn't worth more than 20 bucks. It's not ground breaking by any means. Yet I've seen worse priced at 60 bucks...
Ah, I didn't know I could fuck with him later. Thanks user, I will skip him then.
After around like 20 minutes melee became obsolete imo. I don't know if there's any good melee weapons later on but for the most part it seems like you should just stick to guns
It's not $60
I've been playing it solo and so far it's hard but manageable.
He didn't say it was
Melee is very strong without even needing to invest into it. Later melee weapons like spears or scythes can fuck enemies up very easily and safely. There's an axe that assists mod generation which is great.
Dark souls 2 was not bad, just the level design and bosses soured the experience. Nioh was also alright just a mission based system was annoying and most fights were made easy by using sloth and weakness
Yeah and it was mediocre and beat it hard solo. It's a loot shooter without limited loot that tries to copy Souls games but fails hard in the boss and level departments since the levels are procedurally generated.
Melee is really good if you build for it.
