The story is passable I guess, but a 2nd playthrough isn't worth it at all. And fuck whoever thought multi-phase fetch quests from an inconsequential stranger and having the rewards be a dumb hat and a revolver you can't even upgrade was a good idea.
I'm more concerned with Rockstar's lack of foresight regarding Javier. He was a smooth operator with a personality in RDR2, but he's a cowardly, spineless snake and a caricature in RDR1.

even on my first playthrough the party when you get Sean back was so sad to me, because I knew things could only get worse from there, and it's one of the last times the whole gang seems really together and happy, Bill and John are drinking and laughing, Arthur can dance with the girls, and while I was sitting at the fire drinking and singing I turned around and saw through Dutch's tent to the other side where he and Molly are dancing alone together, and it's all so bittersweet

all I need is keyboard and mouse support and first person RDR2 will be one of my favourite games, it's amazing starting a second play in first person only and seeing just how equally the game was designed to play to both modes, unlike GTAV, the map itself is perfect for first person it makes it so seamless
