I downloaded that combat reworking mod, and literally could not get past that ghost dog boss. Finally got him stuck on geometry and cheesed him. After being unable to finish some quests because there was no way to beat the combat encounters I cheated and leveled to max. It was still pretty hard.

I honestly don't think this is that unlikely. Porting The Witcher 3 would be by far the most difficult part of bringing the trilogy to the Switch and they've just done exactly that.
