Just finished watching Dragon Quest: Your Story. feel free to ask for spoilers or shit
ok, why was it so shit?
It was alright, a little fast paced, but pretty
>it was all a dream
Janemba opens console command and bullies the MC, yeah
When you played Dragon Quest 5 for the first time, did you think it would ever have a movie?
There's a dragon quest movie?
Are you Japanese?
Rating out of 10?
How was the fight scenes?
Nah, he's gay
Not gonna lie senpai, i actually never beat 5, only 3 on super famicom and 8 on ps2. I only knew the basic story from what ive seen and heard over the years, even still, it does give me a warm feeling to see it.
The fights are half-disney "i notice something and beat him with a trick" and half japan style
Why didn't they try to make it look like a Toriyama drawing at all? Toriyama art is the first and last thing I think of when I think of DQ.
Also i dont know what i would rate it yet... Maybe 7 if i ignore the 懐かしい〜 feeling. Animation is not to the same quality as disney, but it still looks very pretty the whole way through, except for one mountain rock that looks like bad game texture
I'm not japanese, but i live here in tokyo.
Is that a love hotel?
I dont think so, the love hotels are all behind the TOHO building i believe. I dont use them ever
Ching ching wing Wong..
Egg fu Yung?
Are you even asian?
user...you should go to the dermatologist
Parts you hated?
No, im white. Makes it annoying because everyone tries to use english to me, badly. But i'd like to avoid turning this into a diary thread.
>There's a Dragon Quest movie.
Huh. Neat.
Why did you waste your money? I at least hope you live here, and not someone who travelled all the way to Tokyo to watch a bad film.
I didnt hate any of it, but i wish it was 2 movies instead of one, or maybe a mini-series, because it has pacing problems
>I dont use them ever
How sad. Not even once user? Really?
Is it true that non-japanese aren't allowed to access the sex industry in kabukicho?
I live here, as i said. Though i was spoiled when i was younger by american theatres. Most of the ones here are 1,200+円 a ticket and have small screens so i dont usually go.
Ugly girls offer massages right in front of the police station in kabuki-cho, they are all useless there. prostitutes just make me a bit sad, and hotels are expensive so i dont bother
I know. I never go to the cinema unless it’s a movie I REALLY wanna watch on the silver screen.
The Love Hotels in Shibuya are alright, and a pretty decent experience to try at least once.
So in the end it was just a OK 7/10 movie.
Not bad, not perfect.
It is most definitely for fans, it doesnt bother to explain anything and has a personal message to the audience at the end. "Continue your adventure".
I am actually staying in shibuya now while i look for a place to move, i would take you up on your offer but no girl to take right now..
How much does a vacation to Japan cost? I wanna go there next year.
Vacation? It really depends on from where youre flying and how many cities you want to see. At least 1,000 usd. I urge you to do more than the normal boring "akihabara shopping, maid cafe, picture at fuji san and tokyo tower," atleast.
PATLABOR pilled
I hate you you dumb lying fag, kill yourself. Waito piggu kys.
What is there even to do?
If it makes you feel any better my aunt is taiwanese. I really do live here, though, my dear shitposting friend
Museums, parks, shrines, temples, interesting art and people all over, there's matsuri and fireworks in the summer, winter activities, rural villages like Okutama or really any prefecture east of tokyo that many foreigners dont visit besides mayybe hokkaido
God I fucking hate weebfags who move to japan. Fuck off you will never be japanese.
(あんた)
What do the people around you/friends think of the “twist” isekai bs?
Do you Post on R/asianmasculinity
so what IS it?
it looks like DQ5, movie edition.........
Is it true that the ending was that it was literally all a dream? Or some fucking VR game?
I refuse to believe it.
For me, it cost about 2k, but that was with three hotels and a tour guide.
I went from Tokyo to Osaka.
Also, visit every temple you see. Seriously, they're beautiful.
>I'm white
>Aunt is Taiwanese
What?
Probably has a white uncle who married a Taiwanese woman? That shouldn't be confusing you.
>t.olivia hill
