I have a question; I am this fag here So, here's the thing. I found a shop that sells used Wii U consoles with softmod, but in the description it says it's a softmode to boot Wii games. Now, I'm not sure if that's a typo (can't call them now because they don't work on Sunday), but is it possible that that softmod is realyl as it says, for WiI games and not Wii U? I mean, just how you needed 2 different linkers for 3DS to start DS and 3DS games, even though they use the same fucking slot.

Also, how inconvenient is to to play Wii games with Wii U pad? Do I really need to buy new/different controller? Because, to be honest, I'm buying it just for XenoX and TMS and... I don't know, Arc Rise Fantasia for Wii.

Yeah, it's different. Softmodding the virtual Wii (vWii) is a separate task to softmodding the Wii U side. The vWii can be hacked in 90% the same way as a regular Wii. I think there's extra shit you can do in vWii mode if you hack the Wii U side though.

Wooly World is good if you're in the mood for a relaxing platformer and you like getting all collectibles. Star Fox has to be a hard pass unfortunately, as much as I wanted to like it. Color Splash is severely flawed but worth playing if you can deal with some severe flaws.

Hey fag, here is the deal. You can softmod the Virtual Wii part and the Wii U part. If you combine both mods, you will be able to play some wii games using the gaypad but only for wii games that uses the classic controller. Also, you can simulate gaycube games and play with the gaypad too, but being honest I rather play with the gaycube controllers instead.

If you dont have gaycube controllers, they are fighting pads that are similar to the gamecube but the issue is that the triggers are digital and not analgo, so ymmv on certain games.

You can check either in the /hbg/ section of /vg/ under the pastebin of more consoles or you can check in reddit on /r/wiiuhacks.

I have nes, snes, n64, gamecube, gba, nds, wii and wii u games on my wii u and I dont even have to launch the vwii for wii games, only for the wiiware but who play those shitty games anyway?
