have you tried to git gud?

learn how to handle mobs, if your main professions give you extra bonuses then use them, don't neglect cooking so you can give yourself small buffs, and don't fall into the trap of only having one way to kill enemies/level up.

.

don't get overconfident, have enough HP before attacking things. When a sudden add comes in, you'll have more options for escape for fighting back

More importantly, find a GROUP
this is a social game, with more people you can take 3 or more enemies

The warriors life is one of suffering and discipline

honestly just level till you can get in an instance and ride the gravy train.

It's not hard, it's grindy as FUCK.
I am enjoying exploring the world though.

thats what ive been doing. If i stay currentish on gear i can get by. Having irl friends helps me too

GNOMES THE BANE OF METHOD

It was always like that, yes. So did you go warrior or rogue?

If you're a warrior look for someone to quest with, ask in general even. If you get a class that can throw a heal you're and unstoppable killing machine with zero downtime.

kys samefag
this is genuinely s a d

stop playing warrior and play a braindead easy leveling class like huntard or warlock.

>really hard
>ragnaros and onyxia already killed
>raid group not even of 40man and some of them weren't even lv 60
>not even "pre raid" gear
Git gud

It is the idea of the game, you start so weak so that you have to pay for more dough.

> Git gud
1.12 content.

Why you cope? Are you a Methodcuck?
Reminder to scream on Reddit no World First so far aren't legit because made by people who were dedicated on private servers so they knew the game in advance

Just ignore frog posters. They're universally retarded and/or trolling.

Just wait until you've nearly killed one mob and it scurries away but you were so BTFO that you're trying to bandage and eat/drink up then that nigger comes back with 2-3 friends that it aggroed while it was retreating

Anyone can get carried by a L33t guild

is instance grinding worth it?

Classic was a point WoW where you weren't a literal God able to solo entire raids. You're weak now but eventually you'll feel much stronger. That's real progression and that's why Classic is lit.

what you need to do is level a warrior and put all talent points into protection

Quickest way to level. Up to you which you think will be more fun between that and questing/mob grinding.

You've got a few options:

Buy or brew alchemy pots, sharpen your weapons, hit up the AH to get some good weapons, eat some food that gives bonuses and see about getting other classes to buff you.

Unlike Retail, Classic doesn't chuck gear at you as quest rewards, but you're given that money for a reason. Pay a blacksmith to sort you out some better gear, or get an enchanter to improve what you're already wearing.

If you try and get by on what the game gives you, you'll be fucking dead.

>minding my own business
>other player runs past me with a bunch of enemies following him
>they start attacking me instead
what the fuck is this horseshit

WOW Classic is back in a time when it was trying to compete with Everquest.

If you never want to wait more than 30 seconds for a dungeon group, do this

classic vanilla move

yup, or pulling a massive group of mobs and dying and watching the mobs scatter around killing everyone else

how do i make gold btw? i got 20g at lvl34 there's no fucking way i'm getting a mount by 40

Have you been mining, picking flowers(lolfag), mutilating animals, or disenchanting every piece of gear that isn't white or gray, and ignoring the crafting skills?

Has there been any expo since bc that's taken longer than a week to clear?

>guilds already advertising discord channels
Time to /gquit

Yes especially if you can tank or heal

I think the fact that Vanilla was legitimately hard contributed a lot to the community we had back then. People are a lot more willing to group up for quests, especially if the opposite faction is around (fuck PvE cucks they aren't even playing the same game). There's a sense of shared suffering that makes people want to cooperate instead of just doing their own thing.

I just wish the community had died down. It's taken me like half a day to reach level 13 and even then the second area is still overrun with people. I have to play on off-hours to even see a mob

Beats communicating outside the game via battlenet, though.

>this is really hard

What the fuck am I reading, most bosses don't even have any mechanics to them

You don't need tanks in vanilla

At least not until later dungeons

Get a girlfriend and she can be your healslut.

Bosses are really easy, but people find solo leveling harder since you generally have to take your time because you can't pull ten enemies and come out on top. Most classes also struggle with two or three enemies at once, and have to stop for mana/health after every few pulls.

Invite people to groups or wait to be invited, do this for as many quests as possible, especially those 'slay X amount of X creature' or 'slay X boss'. In the beginning I was scared of grouping with people so I tried to take on the early bosses like Princess alone, didn't go so well so I skipped those until I was stronger but you should't do that just group with people, everyone's very willing to do that because it's very beneficial in this game.

Also if you rolled a mage you can make your own food and drinks this is fucking awesome, if not consider learning cooking, or ask for food/drinks from other mages when grouped.
