No Ape Escape crossover.
One of the most underrated osts ever
Little to null marketing from Sony, they prefered to market Nioh instead of an exclusive and niche game which totally need the support
It sucks because it's unbalanced as fuck too.
They think with numbers: if it's big, it's not big enough.
it might just be me but i feel like the gravity controls are slightly less responsive in GR2 than 1
in GR1 i could drop, cancel and change direction in less than a second, but in GR2 it feels like theres more of a delay from cancelling to changing direction, it ate my inputs half the time if i did it too fast
Yeah, Gravity Rush could've easily become one of the slogan games for playstation but sony went full western retarded and fucked everything, even Japan Studio is kinda dead now
Too many stealth missions when the primary game mechanic doesn’t compliment that style of play at all
The entire mid section with the angel chick felt really out of place and irrelevant to the game’s overall plot.
Also making Raven be a part of of Kat instead of her own person felt like a real cop out as far as tying up loose ends from the first game
Lastly the side quests were fucking atrocious. I did enjoy this game but anytime I recommend it to others I tell them to just ignore the side quests if they want to have a good time
what are you talking about they even made an anime for it
First game was one of the funniest times I've had getting to 100% completion. Still haven't started the 2nd but I'm hoping for a similar experience
What's your dream GR3?
Also, has that GR manga scanning user delivered yet?
Am I weird for thinking that the second game wasn't as good as the first? Maybe the novelty had just worn off by that point, but the entire final third of 2 felt extremely lackluster with all the climbing the magic beanstalk shit and the boringi Eto sections and the evil lightning girl that comes out of nowhere.
GR3 with Raven as full protag, and going deeper in the thing of The Other
Oh I also wish there were more subspace (forget what they call it in-game but the weird alien like areas) levels because those were the parts in 1 where your gravity techniques are put to the test and also really interesting aesthetically
One last complaint (I swear I did like this game lol) the main theme that plays during the overworld gets really repetitive and annoying which is a shame because the overworld tunes in the first game were fantastic
A lot of improvements on the controls, some fun new features except for the ones that got shut down, story is about as "meh" as the first one but it comes together in the ending which if you invest yourself in the characters is kind of an emotional rollercoaster. Also, the soundtrack is just as fucking comfy.
>Make exclusive and niche game
>Expect it to sell millions
I loved GR but let's be honest, Nioh was the safest bet, I would have done the same.
>making raven be a part of kat
Wasn't that just some weird Yea Forums fan theory shit that the ending of GR2 completely BTFO's? I remember it being something like that.
A fair bit desu.
I love the game but I haven't put more than 100hrs into it. Purely because I can't find enough to do.
It would be leagues better if randomly generated groups of Navi would spawn into the overworld when a black hole appears because fighting random enemies would at least be cool.
The mining shit was fucking boring. I hate rng shit like talismans, in any game. The game was perfect aside from that. Only other real complaint was I wish chapter 3 was a more prominent part of the story. I wanted Eto to have been much more important
GR 1 gets you tight to the meat and potatoes of the game, GR2 has like a 3hr tutorial.
A lot of the side quests were pure tedium.
Aside from that the game is a cool 10/10, one of my favourites.
fpbp, this series could have been huge, but Sony mishandled it so badly, it was probably intentional. Still hoping for a third game next gen, but I doubt they'll give Kat another chance
Sony
Sony has a history of making people hate their games to justify their mishandling of IP's.
>Japan Studio downgraded to be the VR shovelware department
>Can't get clearance to make a GR VR Experience demo where you just float around and have fun with Kat
Why even live
Instead of a GR3, we might get a "revamped" edition of GR2.
I wonder how that would work out.
>Raven is fully and optionally playable after the main end
>Raven's moveset is expanded on
>Has side missions, some unique, others the same as Kat but with different interactions and story bits
>Some of them have something to do with the ending and main story
>Also has her own animations, emotes and costumes (again, some unique and others similar to Kat)
>Online is either back or at least the treasure mode is available offline
>Online bonus stuff is available
>More talisman mining stuff with new levels, some based off areas from concept art
>Probably another story expansion with a new city
This is also because either the series "ended" or answering questions will fuck it up even more.
30fps and 90% of quests disabling your powers in a game about controlling gravity.
>30fps
Boo fucking hoo you snob
And the second thing you said makes me think you didn't play the game or you're lying to justify your disliking of the game. It's fine not to like a game but be honest about the reasoning.
Gravity rush on vr would kill you
I am. I'm just not a blind cock sucking fanboy like you.
I loved the game sure but I know what the flaws are and that is not one of them.
drink bleach and shoot yourself in the mouth, you fucking failed abortion
No they confirm it in game. I forget if it’s in the Raven dlc or main game but it’s definitely canon
>Gravity Rush in VR
With a vomit bag included as a preorder bonus ?
Why does Kat wear no pants?
>make 2 of the best female character designs of all time
>they're trapped forever on a children's mobile video game device
sigh
Looked like more of the same.
I played Gravity Rush 1. It was fine. But that was enough for me. They'd have needed to change things up considerably to get my attention, not just a higher budget. Gravity Rush 1 already looked good on PS4 anyway.
easier to take shits on the floor
I hope they make a third and give it a full AAA treatment.
You can painfully see how these games were designed for a mobile system. This shit is simple, and boring and outside of the combat there isn't much to do to entertain yourself because the sidequests are all shovelware tier bullshit like racing a stupid fucking bird
>design
>world
>music and style/choice of music
>characters
>its language
>gameplay mechanics
>lore/ominous stuff
were all very good, but then it was just more of the same shit from GR1. the gameplay mechanics are really good -- there's actually a jump-somersault you can do by jumping while standing still and ever so slightly tilting the right stick at the right time -- but then there's nothing to even do with the great mechanics
i think a fun co-op mode/free roam would have done this game really well as long as thy added more stuff to do. like, every sony normalfag has PS+, so it would have given them incentive to get the game if they heard that they could fly and fall around together with their buddies. because the story and stuff weren't the problem -- it was the "nothing-to-do-with-this-good-gameplay
