Ragnaros was never hard mechanic wise, he was only hard because you had to gather a bunch of retards who doesn't suck which was harder back in the day.
As far as mechanics go Ragnaros is piss easy.

It was never difficult. It was just tedious.

Carefully making sure you pull one easy to kill mob, because two of them is too much for your stats to withstand isn't difficulty, it's just tedious, because you can kill one of them 100% of the time without issue. It's just tedious and makes killing a lot of them take longer.

I remember waiting for people for hours to clean a dungeon. People would die 8 times while coming to the dungeon, they didn't have the fly required, they didn't have the key to open it, they were absolutely retarded. I wasted so many hours it was absolutely ridiculous.

You don't need fire resistance gear when the game is 12 patches after the content is relevant and there has been massive rebalancing. They did MC literally wearing level 40-50 gear.

I never got the appeal of WoW anyway. I played Mabinogi which was pretty challenging and the gameplay was a lot better than the boring tab targeting bullshit. Plus the cool transformations and stuff. But Nexon ruined that game in the end, so...

I don't know why anyone expected anything different. It's fucking classic WoW. I'm sure there's some poopsocker out there that has been doing nothing but leveling characters to 60 as fast as possible on private servers since at least classic was announced. I'm sure that an entire group of them have been speedrunning it the same way since then, too.
If your personal enjoyment is ruined by poopsockers getting world firsts, this wasn't meant for you. And when the poopsockers realize blizz isn't going to cater to them like they did in retail, they'll realize it's not for them, either.
