I started a few months in advance but blind as a bat so when the collab came around suddenly I was worrying about night battles, fairies and kiting laser beams. In the end it takes a lot of effort to get done if you aren't already in the position to do so.
As for collabs not repeating, the BB/GG collab repeated in Japan once and Sukeban aren't exactly a huge name nor would they turn GFL down if they wanted to do a rerun. So it isn't entirely hopeless

I love cute anime girls using guns, the contrast is really enjoyable to me and I was always hoping more fun games with them to come out. The game focusing on that finally comes and It's a fucking phone game of all things. This is the one thing i wanted goddammit.

Game is nice, i want a makarov and i have been replaying 2-5 for about 4 days thinking "shes only 3 star drop how hard can it be?"
Turns out, very hard.

Any tips for a noob? i feel like im going to run out of cores all the time. Should i just rank up all the whites im getting hundreds of? or spend all my cores on dummying rare guns?

Don't waste cores willy nilly, focus on the AR squad, M16 and good or cheap SMGs like UMP45, Vector, PPS-43, Ingram.

Always try to get 6 energy for Data Days, this is probably the most time-gated thing in the game and you'll always be hellbent on getting more.

I wish they would add a mod where you can talk and learn more about each of the waifus.
It shouldnt be hard considering they are all based in real life ships and have some already established story.

Do not use MG's. Do not spend dummy cores on a bunch of 5 stars, save cores and use low rank guns.
Use 3 AR and 2 SMG. Do not delete the AR's you get from story.
Save gems and use them to buy more echelons so you can run logistics missions.
Add people so you can use their echelons in missions.

If this is your first and you're still early on, you shouldn't be using all 5* guns, you'll run out of cores too fast. Thompson isn't really that great as far as 5* SMGs go, her evasion isn't very good, and her skill takes too long to go off. Kar98 is also pretty bad.

Just stick K11 behind a SMG and 5 link her, terror grenade fires one per doll does more damage for each one that hits the target, so she complements Thompson's tankyness very well in boss fights.
I just threw a few combat reports at 64 and put her on the squad to see how she'd preform, Thompson deferentially appreciates the extra evasion and ROF.

No one ever plays Honkai Impact despite it being the only gacha with actual graphics and actual gameplay.

No. This game is annoying because in order to play efficiently, you have to keep checking in every hour or so to keep your units healed. By comparison, Azur Lane can be as little as 5 minutes a day (just enough to start the huge day-long commissions to burn up oil). Even if you're playing seriously, 2 hours in the morning and 30 minutes at night. No constant checking in all day. I don't play any gacha anymore, but I would never recommend GFL to someone else. It's made specifically to monopolize your time so you have no time left for other gacha games.
