About to play this. What can I expect?
wordswordswordswordswords
you're about to play it anyway, just do it instead of making a stupid fucking thread faggot
the combat is fun, walking around is slow, remember to bind environment spells to L because they dont work otherwise
an average to above-average jrpg that was too good for its own console, and the only reason it was lauded is because it was baby's first jrpg on the handheld
expect a easygoing, comfy jrpg with a cool battle system. talk to everyone in all the towns for the standard rpg info gathering, especially after story events. experiment with classes and your abilities, there are a ton of fun options. If you end up liking it, there's a second part that is a direct sequel
It was cut in half because of development hell, meaning the sequel is pretty much the second part of the game.
Also the combat system is extremely basic, you'll face zero difficulty, and the game has those zelda-tier "puzzles" that require you do execute a very simple and obvious action to progress.
Fun combat, lots of puzzles, a lot of reading, thicc atmosphere
Reaction shots.
love those
Ive only played the first 1 hour and the game is so fucking generic and boring.
A good game.
Have fun, user.
You're genetic and boring.
damn zoomers and their goldfish attention span
Lots of dialogue, cool story, fun combat but only against bosses.
Honestly
I'd recommend just skipping to the sequel
Endless dialogue choices what are all entirely meaningless
SOUL
and the sequel has even more
Why are this game and TLA so charming? I understand they have some problems, but something about them it just so appealing at the same time
big brained argument.
when does it actually pick up the pace though?
The beeping voices.
WORDSWORDSWORDS
BUT THOU MUST
WORDSWORDSWORDS
And a combat system that's impossible to lose in while attacking every turn unless you're using a difficulty patch.
I thought everyone hated the nds sequel
these
There is another GBA game
whats wrong with the sequel?
Bullshit, there are also axes and rods in the game.
Polished, atmospheric JRPG
OnT 2 is perfectly fine, but the 3rd is meh.
