i'd still rather play it on my ps3 and i just finished a playthrough of it not long ago. gave emulating it a try just to see how it was and it was alright though. but the first time i loaded the game, everything was black. was there a reason for that or is that just standard emulation shit?

I played through it 4-5 times with 3 builds back 2009-10. I really don't feel like playing it again + offline is really boring for me at this point. Looks great at high resolutions though.

I get 60fps on the same cpu in most areas after the shaders have been computed, my gpu is 1060 6gb

Just beat the armored spider, I really like it so far, it's definitely better than DS2 and DS3.

How's PS3 emulation with AMD cards? I've always used Nvidia cause they always seemed to click better, but right now I can't justify paying Nvidia's prices for their cards when AMD is beating the shit out of them on the mid-tier spectrum

r5 2600 and rx 580 and I play it just fine 30fps locked and I can push it to 60fps most of the time but dropping frames in a game where gamespeed is tied to framerate is a bad idea.

Resolution is handled by the gpu so going down to 480p won't make any difference. Your cpu is just too slow, consider upgrading it, a cheap ryzen 1600 should do the job.

Just using the debug build doesn't work, I think you've got to hook up a LUA server to it and fuck with things. So quite a lot of effort.
