It's been out for a few days.

It's the same shitty indie metroidvania game I played a million times already. It's slightly above average (especially the music and animations), bit the enemies are boring as fuck and only have like 2 attacks each.

2 hours into it and its pretty based. The combat is not that satisfying & enemies have small amount of moves but the environment, enemy design and music makes up for it.

What if you don't buy the game?

The gameplay is slow and boring, like most people with surface-only knowledge of videogames they just went with what is popular. Which is Metroidvania and Souls, both of which have shit to mediocre combat at best.

Gameplay was obviously an afterthought. The game looks great but 99% of the game is fighting, if the combat isn't fun, then I don't really feel like playing the game.

Not since I've discovered how to pirate games.
Pirated games are basically a full demo, and if you like it, you buy it.
