The new features added. Granted its not much if you already have the vita version but for those that haven't played that version then this is the best way to play 4 now. From what I read, they added the ability to bribe the senate with cash if your bill fails and it autosaves after every map cleared.

She is trying to motivate you to learn your ice magic and move on to be a red or green skull. She takes the hits for you so she expects you to learn your spells and provide the offence.

Honestly they butchered them in D2 since the main trio kept some of their dlc appearance personalities instead of being like they were in D1. D2 has crazy post game though even by normal standards.

Is there any Disgaea game that may appeal to someone who likes the original XCOM and Dungeon Keeper? Are all the games really easy? Is it possible to disable attack animations?

If you want difficulty, if you play the main story like an actual turn based strategy and don't grind it actually gets hard in places and you have to get creative with the unique mechanics to get through.

I've finished it but I really didn't like it, having coven skills instead of unit skills was an awful decision that never felt right.

Her getting those elemental buffs really made her shine as a spellcaster and thanks to her unique elemental sword skills in 5, a pretty good swordswoman too.

I guess technically it was always a multiverse since the post game bosses in D1 were from other dimensions, but mixing them together like in 5 was just too stupid.

most of the strategic appeal tends to be more in the environment rather than in the attacks/enemies like those two games, with destructable geo symbols that can do anything ranging from invincibility to creating hostile duplicates of any monsters or even your own party
the difficulty is up to you for the most part, you can overgrind and mindlessly stomp every stage or you can underlevel yourself to make them more challenging
yes but you should watch them at least once because a lot of the attacks have some really kino animations

Imagine if the slot machines crashed regularly, the poker tables and cards were torn apart, and someone stole all the dice. That is what happened to the gacha game. The servers were complete trash and couldn't hold even a few people at a time. They tried to originally blame westerners for the crashes and blocked foreign IPs but the servers still shat the bed, all the while NIS still had to pay for these sorry servers.

Sony programmers basically delivered a crashing unplayable game so they had to cancel it 1 week after release, realizing it wasn't just bugs, but basically a fake tech demo at the core. and because it's Sony, no way to sue.

They need to stop doing this. I swear they have had a catastrophe 100% of the time they've attempted this.

They made a deal with the devil commissioning Sony to manage the game.
Their final hope is that the Fall 2019 relaunch that they're aiming for actually goes smoothly.
From the twitter responses the nips are reasonably angry with ForwardWorks, yet there are still those showing their support out of sheer dedication to NIS.

That said we already how they handled launching the game, so I wouldn't get my hopes up with future updates if it ever actually does launch.
