It's written by Avelonne, so if you like his stuff from other games you'll definitely like kotor 2. Its typical grognard pandering, which makes some star wars fans seethe because they like their fantasy dumb simple as George intended and this is definitely not a typical star wars story. It has a dark, oppressive atmosphere and the sense of doom never really goes away.

Just create force tornadoes and kill your enemies that way, you can literally stand far away from the fray and invoke your elements to tear apart entire armies
I mean the idea of sword fighting in a Universe with death rays and laser blasters is inherently stupid, and the authors know it, it's why every single person with a blaster is literally never able to land a single shot on a Jedi, because if they could the Jedi would get wrecked in absolutely everything but assassinations which is probably the only situation where a OHKO stick is a preferable option
I will just never understand why Star Wars is so beloved by anyone who wasn't a kid when the OT came out
