Would FF Type 0 be a top 5 Final Fantasy game if it was made with a 70-100 million dollar budget like every other FF game?

No, Tabata has only ever directed mediocre games.
And this is coming from someone who has 1000/1000 all 4 region variants of Type-0 on xbox and 100% all of FFXV and its DLCs including both versions of the multiplayer.

My favorite recent Final Fantasy game is Dragon Quest XI.

I really liked type 0. Like really, the only thing I disliked was the last boss.

It's not bad at all. In fact, it's a good game but you can clearly tell that it was a handheld game. Square did a lazy job making a HD remake. I just beat the game a few days ago. You are required to actually play through it twice because very important shit is only seen on the second playthrough

I tried Type-0 on PSP.

It's clunky plus the enemies read your buttons like in a fighting game plus sometimes you run into absurdly overleveled enemies.

Bought this on PS4 when it first came out. The boundary of the map being far away from the actual objects in the game is the kind of thing that annoys me, then the headaches from the camera sealed the deal on me getting rid of the game. Heard they improved that second part though. Anyone get headaches before the update that can tell me how it is after the update? Literally the only game in existence that I've had this problem with.

Occasionally one or two members will be unavailable due to story

There's really no purpose in not using everyone available, so I don't know why party selection even exists

I saw these two games at a store for a cheap price.

I regret not picking up them as I only bought automata, fighterz, dmc v, some idol game, and RE6.

At least I'm gonna buy FFX HD next Tuesday because it's 10 bucks nowadays.

World of Final Fantasy is actually good?

It is a remaster.
It's actually really jarring. The game runs on Luminous, and Class Zero gets new models--but nobody else. Some locations and the lighting are also updated.

So it winds up being a PSP game that, on occasion, looks like a PS4 game, sometimes both at the same time.

I picked up WoFF from a used game store the other day. But I've only played FFI-FFVII and about half of Tactics. How lost would I be if I played it?

WoFF has nothing to do with the worlds or stories of FF games, it's a completely original setting and story that FF legacy stuff just happens to occupy

As a game though it's a monster-catching turn-based RPG with a fun gimmick where you stack your party members to combine their stats/abilities
