MGS's open world is utterly empty, and has a retarded storyline. Mad Max came out at the same time and has a better open world and more interesting gameplay mechanics.

It actually works as a "subjective list". Like it actually seems like someone's real taste and not just them listing off all the games that everyone expects to see on a list like this. Even though my personal list would be mostly different from theirs, I actually have no problem with this list. I'd actually prefer to see more top lists that aren't afraid to show the writers' actual opinions instead.

Their highest rated game ever (SMAC) isn't even on this list.

Individual writers can post their individual opinions on their fucking blogs where they're only representing their own opinions. When your opinions are being publicized from a company that has many employees and is supposed to represent a less biased source you're going to step on a lot of toes. People are going to read this list and mistakenly assume some fucking research or comparative ranking from multiple sources took place and this was the result. It misrepresents what most people would agree with and this ultimately makes it useless.

I don't like shit like this being misrepresented because some morons who develop games are going to look at this list and make a snap judgement about what gamers want without consulting anyone except some fuckboi with shit taste who happens to have a platform on a website.

It sure was fun infiltrating the same settlements with the same enemy positioning for 3 "different" missions each.

The upgrades were interesting but about 20 hours in i couldn't bring myself to play another second of it, too fucking repetitive and boring with no story whatsoever to keep me going.

Shit list but they got the last one right. Without nostalgia Divinity 2 is straight out the best RPG game ever created. Flat out the best, objectively the greatest with good quests, VA, gameplay, story etc. Nothing compared.
