as far as i know,the same base models were used for dissidia nt and ffxv,what i have to prove this is that the face for all characters have the exact same uv mapping,meaning you can exchange the textures no problem and they match,which probably also means they were both made by square itself,and the conclusion i have is that they've trying to cater to the west with the shitty modernized designs on the remake
