>bro have you tried giving the game a better priority in the settings?

>just overclock lol

>"this game runs like shit on my 1080ti"
>Meanwhile I'm getting 60fps with a 1060 6g

Do I just have a Jesus GPU or something?

>I don't know why people care complaining about performance this game runs like a dream on my GTX 650
>runs the game on low settings, 720p and barely hits 30fps

>Meanwhile I get 65fps with my Jesus 1060 at the same settings and resolution

its probably just a boomer playing in 4k expecting it to run at steady 60 fps

people buy 1080's and not worry about the cpu so they bottleneck themselves super hard. Anytime somebody says their gpu is under performing just ask about their cpu

You realize running in 4K is WAY less demanding than people think it is.
Usually the issue is with people using 16x MSAA/4x SSAA

>Friend buys 1080 ti
>Shoves it into computer with 7 year old CPU
>WTF why are my games still running like shit?

>it runs like shit on my i7 4790k gtx 1070 what a shit port
>your processor is very old bruh 4th gen your pc is shit get a better computer

>SSAA

Do you realise that what SSAA does is make the game run at a higher resolution, then downscale it to a lower resolution?

>32GB ram
literally no different than a 8GB ram or 16GB ram or 64GB ram, depending on what software is utilizing its resources. in terms of performance, higher clock speed (MHz) and the most recent Data Double Rate (DDR) matters. dual-channel/quad-channel ram is also recommended, as opposed to single channel or three sticks.

if its an old i7 at least 2rd gen its fine, if its amd RIP

>try to play some 3D indie game with my GTX 1060
>runs horribly at even low settings
PC gaming is getting ridiculous. Look at this Falcon Guide from December 2012. You could get an absolute top of the line PC for $2000. TWO of the BEST graphics cards available. Nowadays two grand will get you a mid-high tier card. And considering how poorly optimized everything is nowadays, a high card doesn't equate to much. Fucking ridiculous.

>anime moetrannie is retraded
Shocking

I still have my 970 from 2014 and it runs any modern game perfectly fine on high settings.

Just dont buy shitty brands

Yeah, no.try shadow of the tomb raider. Cant keep 60 fps up on high. T. Fellow 970 owner

Fun fact, dual channel ram is so standardised that it is the listed value on single sticks.

So a single stick of 2400mhz RAM is actually 1200mhz. RAM sticks are like boobs. You need two.

The following is a PSA to anyone with 8gb of RAM.

Buy another stick and become a 16gb Chad. It's only $35. We need more people on 16gb so that game devs will finally optimise for 16gb.

And what do you think happens when SSAA is on when you're already on 4k.

Surely it wouldn't attempt to render at 8k. That's not even a thing in most games.
