Videogames are overpriced

>a new AAA videogame costs around 70 USD
>for around 6-8 hours playtime on average if it isn't multiplayer

>watching a movie in cinema costs around 12 USD and the movie is around 2h long

>Muh hour = value
Faggots like you are why we get padding up the ass, including open world garbage

sucker like you are the reason why games have become more linear and cinematic fuck you faggot

meddl leude.

What matters is quality content.

Nobody claims that Skyrim is the best game ever because it has unlimited hours of fetch quests for you to do

I do, haha what now?

I cant believe he fucked himself with a black dildo

OP, do your research.

There's lots of games that offer hundreds upon hours of content, you just have to find them.

meddl on

No, but plenty consider it the best game or comparable because of everything else including the small few fetch quests it has.

Because spending dozens of hours mucking about uninteresting open worlds accomplishing nothing and making no progress is TOTALLY worth my time.

>costs

Vidya tops out @ $60 fgt, unless you're gay enough to buy a collectors edition.

haha, imagine paying for video games

>costs
yar har fiddle dee dee

Good, open world games are the future

Any decent PC strategy, RPG or management game will net between 30 and 50 hours of gameplay for usually less than 40 EUR.
In average is 1:1, and that's not including the great replay value most of these have, which can give you more than 200 hours easily.

Of course, if you only play crappy Call of Duty #57 or shitty narrative stuff like Last of Us, it's your fault.

Suck off a bakla you statement on mediocrity
Because you people have fun with shit like Until Dawn, now every fag thinks an edgy story they wrote in fucking high school is something we A) want to read and B) need to pay full price for, in return for four hours of content.

80$, 80 hours of content-attentive gameplay. No "open world" either. Just gameplay that justifies itself.
Not that I'd expect your disappointing ass to agree with me though, you're too busy paying retail price for four whole hours of some guy's garbo fanfic

Quality over quantity. $60 for 30+ hours of fetch quests is not value even though a lot of people are confused into believing it is due to the hours it takes to be a slave. People spend more money on dumber shit than this.

I spent $60 on The Witcher 3. Loved it so much I thought I was scamming them for paying so little.

Got GTA 5's full package for like $100+ or whatever it was because I planned on playing GTA:O but it was so ridden with hackers and fetch quests on top of just poor design. I don't know how to explain it, but it's designed poorly. At launch it was even worse because you would join a mission, it would take you to the sky, disconnect from current lobby, then join that lobby only to say the host left, then throw you into solo online. Why not CHECK before joining instead of joining THEN checking? These are supposed to be one of the top programmers in the world. WHAT? Trash game all together.

Spent $1 on The Witcher 1 and thought it was be okay but turned out to be fantastic. Very underrated game, but The Witcher 2 is eh... Feels clunky and bloated. Runs terrible too. Got Garry's Mod for like $3 or something and it's pretty cool aside from needing Valve Complete Pack to play on more "advanced" servers so you don't get ERROR and checkers everywhere, but most server owners are just trying to asset flip and milk money. Garry's Mod is probably my most "valuable" game because of the entertainment and drama I found within it.

paying for video games on pc = big stupid

>Still playing AAA games
here's your problem.

>paying for singleplayer games

seems like your on a equal level with the dreche hiimself

I've had far more fun with sprite based indie games than all of the recent 5 year AAA games, so meh.

I have a lot less patience than I used to for long repetitive games, especially heavily padded generic stuff like 90% of Ubisoft's catalog.
Just finished ICO for the first time in 6-7 hours and it was a very enjoyable experience.

Vidya:
>Fully customizable, progression can be altered, not having to deal with noisy people

Cinema:
>Shitty chairs, obnoxiously loud audio, not being able to pause when someone interrupts the presentation

RUUUUHEEEEE RAINER

I wish that anyone retarded enough to pay for single player games would just have their throat cut.

You just aren't looking for an experience, you're looking for content to consume. Thats why you don't understand why anyone would pay that much for so little content.

Movies are overpriced too so stop comparing video games to them. Netflix is a better comparison.

Hello dear Yea Forumsirgins, how's it goi...

>games have become more linear
but they haven't. instead, we get the same big empty field in every single-player aaa game now because publishers/developers want to skimp on the actual content and redditfags want every game to be skyrim.

Holy fuck, this. World would be a better place if absolute retards like that would all be taken against a wall and shot.
