Yakuza is saved

Was it really that hard to fix the combat?

Real fans are furious. Yakuza had some of, if not THE best combat in videogames and now all the zoom zooms are going to fuck it up. Zoomers love turn based combat. Older thinking men like god tier brawlers.

I instantly recognized Akio Otsuka's face in trailer, I might be getting too weeb.

I don't mind giving it a shot but I'm concerned about how they will handle the tone of boss battles.
It's hard to take a fight seriously and intensely while hobos are shooting liquor fire breath and your squad is getting resurrected with kisses.
Breaker Majima was already a stretch, but it was still only full physical combat

Since I first played Shenmue, I understood that turn-based combat is just cruft, nothing but a leftover from the 8-bit era. Tech is now advanced enough to combine RPG-style rich plot, exploration and interaction with a *real* combat system.

I never used Breaker Majima, its so fucking weak

>its so fucking weak
It's literally Majima's strongest and most broken style because it can loop enemies on the ground.

Dunno I just love me some grabs.
