I'm an idort but I still prefer Xbox's game design philosophy. Nintendo too. Sony ruined games by trying to make them into "art" by just aping cinema. Sega made "art" games but with actual soul and gameplay. Nintendo and Xbox both make games focused on gameplay. Sony makes garbage intended to woo critics who are looking for a reason to say "see dad games are art my job as a games 'journalist' isn't a waste of life!"
I say this as someone who grew up with a PS1. Fuck Sony for killing off Zipper, Evolution, Psygnosis, and Liverpool Studio and making every studio that doesn't make shitty awardbait to VR garbage.
