The fuck is this death mountain, lmao.
Nani?!
Why are you comparing two different games with two different styles and designs?
>making some shitty unreal engine map thats like 30ft x 30 ft in size and importing a zelda player model vs designing, coding, modelling, texturing, sound mixing, scoring and bug testing a game from scratch
WOW REALLY MAKES THE OLD NOGGIN SPIN ON IT'S AXIS

DUDE STOLEN STOCK ASSETS LMAO
N-NOT POSSIBLE!!!!
HI-YA
>multimillion corporation
most of the people who work for a company like nintendo don't make games
also the unreal engine guy didn't actually make a game, he just made some environments to show on youtube
this, people think pretty filters make shit look good without any semblance of style

Recreating a small section of game in another engine/=/actually making a game
even as someone that doesn't really like zelda type gameplay, link's awakening is easily my favorite game of all time. the oracle games improved in basically every way, but making dungeon rooms larger removed some of what made this game so fucking tight and controlled. it's pretty much perfect, and while i don't like the idea of eventually paying $60 to try this one out, i do have to say that the top (and gameplay footage) will do much more justice than this gay bottom shit
i guess it's stupid to want a 1-1 remake of this game, but otherwise there's no point. the areas are so well designed and the combat/movement/puzzles are so good that basically the only thing that could improve it is a new coat of paint when playing it on a tv. the expanded perspective seems nice, although i'm curious how this will work in dungeons and whether it will make them easier
>Gets hired by Nintendo
>They sit em down in front of a desk
>"Wheres the folder with premade assets i can drag and drop?"
>oh right here, we’ve been remaking the same games since the gamecube era after all
