>homing attack >vs player with tank controls Megaman Legends is a shit game, the only reason it gets praise is for doing something new with the series.
There were plenty of better control schemes arpund at the time, amd still those chose tank controls for a TPS. Does the sequel have better controls than this shit?
In response to your question though the sequel has pretty solid z targeting mechanics.
Jeremiah Edwards
>secret controls make the game slighty better It's garbage, not shit then.
Brandon Robinson
Mega Man Legends 1 was basically made and finished before/around the same time the original DualShock came out. Mega Man Legends 2 controls better in comparison with the DualShock.
Gavin White
Except that there are games with better controls made before dualshock.
There is no excuse.
Daniel Hernandez
Bro it's okay if you suck, I'm not gonna judge you.
Cameron Flores
If you spent more time getting better and less time whining like a bitch, you'd have no problems.
Cameron Allen
>NO! THE GAME ISN'T BAD!!! IT'S YOU!!!!! Tank controls are a relic of not having any better ideas, when MML was made, better ideas were already in circulation.
Fuck off.
Cameron Williams
Does the legends series emulate well these days? If so, would be better played on EPSXE or with PXGP?
Only from the direction you're facing, you have to use the tank controls to change that direction.
Chase Turner
And you know you can change direction while strafing, right?
Gavin Brown
Megaman legends or Evolution?
Owen Williams
>use hit and run tactics >win There i beat the entire game for you.
Michael Cook
>you can make big turns with zero ability to aim Yes, I know.
>>use hit and run tactics Those don't exit in MML. >hit target >try to run >either you run directly into them, stand in place while you turn, or jump off a ledge with strafe run >all will fuck you over >amd none of the, save you from the boss's ho,ing AoE attack that chunks your health
Ian Collins
You generally don't need to aim except for a few select bosses because buster shots have a bit of homing in them. If you need to shoot at something higher up, just jump and shoot, man.
>Those don't exit in MML. Except circle strafing was always a thing in MML1. How bad are you?
Gavin Rodriguez
Or you run directly towards the screen allowing you to watch the boss, retreat and react to incoming fire. Don't get me wrong. Fuck tank controls. They make every game they are in worse but at least MML gives you some options unlike other tank games
I just like it for the naked delicious brown ass in thr sequel.
Mason Peterson
>buster shots have a bit of homing in them Argument invalidated for lying.
>or you could run aimlessly into unseen obstacles to get stuck and hit by everything No thanks. >at least MML gives you some options unlike other tank games Doesn't help in this case.
Adrian Rodriguez
>i'm bad at situational awareness Sounds like you need to apply yourself friend
Brandon Jackson
>Argument invalidated for lying. So you've never even played the game?
Dominic Gray
Fucking this, only brainlets play MML1 on the PS1.
Ian Murphy
>secret controls >dodge roll are you actually retarded
Brayden Rogers
Was the N64 version that much better?
Justin Diaz
MML's aesthetic and artstyle were always really interesting to me. It almost has a sort of "toybox world" feeling, which makes the ruins even more unsettling before a Reaverbot charges at you from out of the darkness.
Caleb Walker
>he can't win the argument so he starts screaming "bad" at me
