A little hint about the tutorial town
So there’s a lot of stuff just laying around in the tutorial town, like an enchanted axe and little stashes of gold, but that’s just the start of it. So there is a smuggler’s cave next to the silt strider port, and they have a lot of shit you sell but they also have open door scrolls. You can use those to break into the Census and Excise warehouse and finally leave town with a few thousand gold and a pocket full of illicit drugs

You might want to warn him that the mage in that cave has melee backup and can blast your ass into bits in seconds at level 1.

I use my stunlock punching so they can never cast a single spell, and if they do get one off then I just jump away to dodge it.

It's a much slower paced game. Despite being praised for its story, it's actually much less story focused than the newer games and more about going out and doing what you want, using its massive toolbox to achieve whatever your goals are in whatever way suits your character best. Great game once you get into it and worth playing through a few times over, though getting into it might be difficult at first especially if you don't start with a good set of skills.

You're right at the end, I would see it through and start on Tribunal. There's plenty of other fun side content out there but I like to do new factions and such on fresh characters as it suits them rather than treating it like a big completion checklist, that would be exhausting.

It's pretty cheap. Personally, i love the game and how little it holds your hands. Definitely not for everyone, because there are walls of dialogue one must read.

Nay friend, it's my first run through the game, so I was happy with just the graphics overhaul pack.

I explored it a little, but there are big cities, lot of dungeons and new strong creatures.

>Kill him and take everything
>Recall to crab and sell all but the helmet
>Wear helmet and talk to another ordinator
>You are now permanently hostile to ordinator
>They attack you on sight, you kill them in self defense
>Take their equipment and sell to crab
>Repeat ad infinitum

I am a huge Morrowind fan but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to someone after he's played Oblivion and Skyrim. Just be prepared for much deeper rpg elements and lore but also it being a lot less accessible

Just finished the main quest the other day. it's one of the most dry and boring games in existence with no interesting quests and a static world that doesn't change across the whole game (the only relatively interesting thing you can really do is just kill everyone in it)

Spellsword because they're just worse battlemages

Well Spellsword default class has some flaws like having two craft skills like alchemy and enchanting as major/minor, you'll just try to find trainers to train those stats instead of leveling them up normally which leads to having way too many level ups with piss poor bonus points for attributes apart from Intelligence. The class also would benefit from swapping either axe or blunt for spear to have another Endurance tied skill since the only other one is medium armor and leveling Endurance is great in early game.

is daedric armor worth getting?

It's pretty much a trophy since by the time you manage to actually gather every piece there's not much left in the game unless you went straight to them with a guide. Also they weigh a ton.

Thank god, why can't I make good enchantments, the few times I've tried it quickly goes way over the enchanting limit of the item.

It's fun to try to track down the pieces (unless you cheat by killing that one telvanni and just taking his) but I've never been able to bring myself to wear it. It's heavy as fuck and by the time you're in the lategame you tend to have some pretty swanky enchanted equipment, or unique items like the Masque of Clavicus Vile or Cuirass of the Saviour's Hide.

I hope the ministry flattens Vivec and every shitty autistic Ordinator in it.
