Ready for Markus and Nakai to rumble? And Gor-Rok to join in?

>tik tak salt age is over
>The scaly bara fags are united in nice more

>game is balanced with rock paper scissor style units
>best tactic is just to fill your army with 20 of your strongest unit
total war would be a fun game if it actually worked

It's not perfect but it's better than what you described. It also stops the AI building retarded stacks.

on top of that some factions aren't even given scissors

They get bigger rocks, though.

TW Warhammer's campaign map is way too simplified to be engaging. The lack of building options, supply lines, population, religion, culture and pretty much everything else other TWs have renders it pointless.

It's not even fun painting the map since settlements don't even change skins anymore.

>dwarves reconquer their empire from the orcs
>all your cities and provinces are still covered in orcish poo and graffiti

who is that a top tactic for?

That's bullcrap

Not a problem anymore :^)

Dwarves, wood elves, sometimes pirate coast and dark elves.

Basically any faction with big ass dragons or creatures. That said AI likes to do the same think late game though beating them is pretty simple and it's just not effective, otherwise everyone in multiplayer would be stacking big creatures but they're not because it sucks.

Not the AI on the other hand is brainless so they can't differentiate between different build, or for example which lore of magic you're bringing and how to counter that. So anything works vs the AI really.

Thoughts?

I saw a Dread Saurian and Razordons. So I'll be buying it.

>game has the worst siege battles and poor unit control I've ever been forced to touch
Pirated the whole thing, got 40 turns into a campaign as fat lizard fucks and was bored out of my mind with all the battles, but couldn't just autoresolve them with overwhelming force.
Fuck Skaven, Fuck heros that you can't do anything to stop (the fucking rats used a rite, next turn shat out a plague suicide bomber and in that same turn he moved all the way to my newly taken regional capital and sent it to the fucking stone age of worthlessness), fuck corruption and most importantly FUCK the elves.

Sorely needed update for Empire.

>play one of the most boring races
>"wtf this is boring"
Should've gone Vietnam mode Skaven.

I was really considering Skaven but I was worried about being shat on so I picked what looked like an 'easier' race
Holy fuck are the lizards lame

>have to buy DLC to be on equal footing in multiplayer
Nice game.

Biggest downside of the WH games is the campaign map. Nothing to do besides building the same 5 buildings and then autoresolving your way through empty settlements only to lose your rank 5 artillery against 200 soldiers while you field 2500

With the new units for Skaven, all you need to worry about is early game and food. Just keep taking the food option after battles and you're set.
