>everybody ends up slaughtering what's left of the dragons and then each other for a millenia instead
definitely preferable
not
it's because mommyfags are that pathetic, or blue lionfags just defend her to shit on edelgard
>a millennia
Eat your Congruence, user.
>edeltards route is the only route where she acts retarded
I don’t get this meme at all. If anything Edelgard is the most ideologically consistent of the three lords. The main difference comes down to if the professor’s dragon cock is keeping her worst tendencies in check instead of her going full authoritarian despot
Meanwhile Claude is a gigantic pussy whom all his talk of reforming Fodlan goes out the window as he flees to Almyra and Dimitri barely even counts as a human being moreso than a revenge obsessed construct of flesh that gets himself killed for nothing
Edelgard's is the redpilled route that actually exposes the lies of the church, slays Rhea, and breaks Fodlan from its status quo and destroys the ones who dubstep in the dark to avoid the war they were plotting.
If Dimitri could have been saved and join your group for the final map after Rhea sets the city on fire, it'd have ended up being the canon route.
No one would mind edeltards if they weren't delusional, but I guess it's to be expected from the yuri route.
I wish I had a mommy gf like her.
The only delusional here is you and your bluepilled church route.
Better than Edelgard who is unironically bluepilled but acts like she's the only redpilled person around
She literally took history lessons from the saturday morning cartoon mole people
hubert is the greatest mage unit i have ever used, so i like the black eagle route. seriously, that guy nearly solos the entire game, occasionally linhardt helped him out with some heals
She did a lot of things wrong but Edelgard is still worse. You're a faggot for picking BE in the first place so enjoy your two bad routes.
Rather have the Yuri route than the flagrant otomeshit pandering that is BL
Oh great a Dimitrifag pretending he's a white pigeon.
>saturday morning cartoon mole people
*Agarthean Dubstep Cult
What compelled you retards to not drop this franchise after Awakening
Reminder that Rhea’s lies about fodlan’s history mislead directly lead to her getting the axe front Edelgard who’s under the misguided premise that Nemesis was actually a hero rather than a tutorial bandit, a lie Rhea herself spread.
She literally brought it on herself, her 12th attempt at reviving mommy turning on her is just icing on top of the cake
>"Why are people hating Edelgard if she acts retarded in other routes but not on hers"
>"Oh btw Claude is a coward that flees to Almyra in 3/4 routes"
>posts Sothis image
>thinks I'm a Dimitrifag
GD is my route of choice for now but I'm waiting on that DLC.
It's fun.
She legitimately didn't though. Stack her up next to Edelgard and she's far more caring, kind and well intentioned.
>no route where you kill the dragons and the slither in the dark at the same time with all 3 leaders
>Edelgard who’s under the misguided premise that Nemesis was actually a hero
>My ancestor :)
you tried awakening after radiant dawn? path of radiance was borderline bad, stones is the last solid non remake
>kill the dragons
What do you have against any of them aside from maybe Rhea?
This is how I see it.
>She gets her revenge on Nemesis.
>The 10 elites surrendered (probably under terms)
>They live peaceful 100+ year lives atoning for their mistakes
>They have children but still have a stigma among those of the Adrestian Empire that Rhea(Seiros) helped founded.
>Historical transmission gets corrupted due to politics naturally.
>There is still a need to foster Crest bearers since only they can properly wield the relics
>Said individuals get renown as heroes in their own right and eventually marry into nobility or granted titles directly.
>Descendent of Nobles embellished their crest ancestry to give the 10 elites an historical upgrade to make themselves look better.
>Rhea capitalizes this too, since only she and four other dragons know the truth anyway since they were there.
>Eventually a progenitor God religion based around Seiros leading the 10 elites to fight Nemesis starts to take shape through many historical muddling.
>Nemesis too is recast as a fallen hero himself to warn mankind not to become corrupted by powers bestowed by the divine and not abuse such “gifts”.
This religion guides people with a moral standard to not become a raging warlord wielding weapons that rival the gods. It teaches that mankind is capable of evil things, but they have the potential to do good. The people of Fódlan hold wielders of relics to a high moral standard to protect them from foreign invaders and dark gods. A orderly society that is able to keep the peace and prevent wars if possible.
Edelgard initiates the war in all 4 routes for the exact same reason dingus. That behavior is consistent. The only difference is how successful said war goes and how depraved her methods become, up to williny using subjects as a shield and turning into Hegemon forme
In fact, Claude technically leaves Fodlan in every route too, its just only in one that he actually gets shit done
There is no "right" character because everyone shits the bed without Byleths support
>with byleth edelgard is kept in check. without him she gets increasingly crazy out of desperation
>with byleth dimitri is emotionally healed, without him he goes nuclear and charges into his own death
>with byleth claude is strong enough to accomplish his goals, without him hes a jobber who flees the country
>with byleth rheas mommylust is sated, without him she goes batshit insane
Ike’s games nearly killed the series
>download the OST on nyaa
>it's still missing like half of the songs, like some of the academy themes and the songs that play when you initiate battle on a boss (there's like 9 of those)
the special edition OST is incomplete
This is about as accurate as it gets, albeit I don’t think it harps quite enough on the fact Rhea’s motivation on this was very much a selfish one.
We see for ourselves in Crimson Flower what she really thinks of humans if she doesn’t get what she wants and let’s her grief turn to rage and fully control her
Black Eagles have no chemistry so far and Edelgard seems really weird. I dunno.
Particularly after the first mock battle she says weird "jokes" but no one cares or acknowledges it except her. Plus she is really bitchy on her C supports.
It sets a bad impression. I hope it gets better. I also hope Blue Lions aren't like this either.
The Golden Deer's seemed to work well with each other and had some fun conversations. Maybe it's because they're more like a real class? A bunch of teenagers shoved into a room. Dunno.
i like black eagles alot, just started my golden deer run and its hard knowing i wont get hubert and his ridiculous one shotting
Rhea literally only goes insane in one route.
Blue Lions are the most connected class by far, the childhood friends group of Dimitri felix ingrid and sylvain in particular are always talking about each other
Are you shitting me? Lys literally is a super powered Hubert, only down side is maybe she’s just not as aesthetically pleasing.
Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't the history said that the heroes that Seiros led were the 4 saints and not the 10 Elites (I remember reading this from the Flayn and Ignatz C support)
Lysithea one shots most things. She doesn't have his survivability or meteor. She has a great spell list and the best stats for a mage. Lorenz gets a relic which works for her to give her spells 2 extra range.
She is the best mage in the game as long as you use her well.
Yeah and it's the only route where byleth isnt there to become archbishop as her mommy surrogate since Rhea refuses to give up power otherwise
Does Ashe Dedue Mercedes and Annette get proper characters too?
I haven't been recruiting people.
Part Zero
Emerald Night
A Fateful Meeting
Yea that’s the point you retard, all of that work trying to save Fodlan and resurrecting the progenitor god only for that god to turn on you would make anyone go insane. Edelgard on the other hand goes insane in 3/4 routes. That being said both Rhea and Edelgard are shit people.
>night
>implying it wouldn't be high noon or some shit
I do want.
I want Holst DLC too. Not added to the main game but a side story.
>Edelgard
>Redpilled
She literally believes incomplete cherrypicked retellings of history from the comically evil slitherers
Only Claude and Byleth learn the truth in their respective routes, Edelgard doesn't know fucking shit but she still talks like she knows all
I love how Edeltards seem to forget Rhea hates Fodlan's state affairs too. I love how she just quits and goes home in Azure Moon and Verdant Wind at the first opportunity.
young Jeralt DLC where he adventures around Fodlan while creating the biggest debts in each tavern from alcohol when
In Crimson Flower, Rhea only behaves that way because she is suffering from full on PTSD. Because Edelgard is exactly like Nemesis, right down to being a tool of the Agarthans.
She retires in Azure moon, that is true. In Verdant Wind (and possibly Silver Snow) you find out later she had died according to Catherine if you S-rank her.
youtu.be
Eh she'd come across as too evil if she knew what she was doing. Rather he be evil than the colossal nitwit she's portrayed as.
>right down to being a tool of the Agarthans.
It's the exact opposite you dumb retard
I honestly don't blame her for the lies her church spread.
It makes humans not look like retards.
I don't really see how a United Foflan could last to be honest. With any of the leaders.
With Dimitri he does get the savior thing going but i assume it ends a generation or two after him. The alliance were used to independence and the Empire has a widely different culture.
Edelgard would have dissent and rebellions all the time.
Byleth might be able to do it. Since he can control the church as well. Plus he is an immortal god king.
She retires in the church route too, after she saves the people from the Agarthans.
Edelgard destroys any plans Claude has with her war. It's only because he has a person wielding a god sword he is able to salvage the situation in GD.
Rhea had a hand in shaping the entirety of Foldan. If anything, it's now that everything is coming back to bite her in the ass.
>I'm the one using the slithers!
>I'm just going to do their dirty job and topple the church for no fucking reason beyond what slithers told me about it!
>aren't we smart, Hubert!
What is this expression meant to convey?
Seriously though, did no one see these and think they need to be redone? Some don't look too bad honestly but most look awful.
that's why fem!byleth and dimitri are the best rulers
Edeltard thinks they're her tools but it's the other way around. They're the ones feeding her half truths and sending her off to do exactly what they want.
Do you honestly think that Nemesis was a retard and not know he was a tool? She knew she was a tool you retard, but she was expecting to betray them later on once they outlived their usefulness. This is villain 101 here, fucking kill your allies once they become a burden. Fuck this makes her even more evil IMHO.
>you're fucking dead, kid
we did it byleth
we saved humanity
Claude preparing everything for when Byleth comes back is pretty based.
What's her solo ending in Verdant Wind say?
The femleth CGs look fine, only waifufags got fucked with literal fanservice and psycho eyes.
Did you completely speedread BE or you missed the entire point? The slithers already controlled the empire from the shadows. If Edelgard hadn't started the war, they would have done so.
Edelgard pretended to be on their good side until the war was over. Even after Arundel nuked the city. Hubert's paralogue makes it clear that they can't go against them yet because they're still useful to win the war.
That's why they're disposed of once the war ends.
In the Church route if you don’t S-rank Rhea, then she dies from her wounds because she didn’t have the power of love.
Dimitri will still die. Byleth only controls the church. People won't respect their child like they would Dimitri.
I wonder if their child would be immortal.
No that's exactly what happened you beta orbiter. Nemesis was nothing but a thief with delusions of grandeur duped into thinking that he was dying the right thing. Edelgard is nothing but a emotionally scarred little girl following a false history who believes that she's doing the right thing.
And Edelgard was leading the force and was the main reason they could even beat Seiros.
You can't pull the
>she's just using them
when, in the end, she did everything they wanted her to.
I mean she'd still be Queen. What are you gonna do, tell the godlike dragon-person-clone that you're going to kick her off the throne?
Her solo ending in Azure Moon says that Rhea goes to live alone in Zanado and Catherine follows her, Seteth X Catherine's too. Where does it say she dies in Verdant Wind?
This is the heart as to why Edelgard is a bad person.
1. After the slithers helped her accomplish her goal she skills them like a villain.
2. Claude/Dimitri/Rhea had faith in Byleth and the progenitor god. This put their faith in you the player and instead it of forcing their own path that ended in bloodshed.
At least with Dimitri he never seemed to want to unite Fodlan to begin with so it's unclear if how hard he'd try to keep it together.
This entire exchange is ironic, considering that Claude ends up knowing way more about Fodlan than she does. And a lot of the things that she "knows" are lies.
ITT: screens no one will ever see
Queens don't really take power. She could sure. But I assume she'd just be a regent while the kid grows up.
And yeah they could rebel and kill her. I mean Sothis died right? I doubt it could happen right away especially with crests being killed off. But maybe one of those super humans from Brigid can do the deed of murder.
AYO

YOU FINNA MEAN THAT

THAT THE CRESTS ARE TO BLAME
*talks about abdicating the throne when she doesn’t even do that in half the epilogue cards*
Women didn't usually become emperor either, but this is Fodlan, not Earth.
It's funny because she actually made the humans out to be better than they actually are.
Catherine - Free Knight
>Catherine left the Knights of Seiros and set out to travel across Fódlan. With Thunderbrand in hand, she wandered the countryside, seeking always to defend the innocent and punish the wicked. Her many years of heroics ensured that she would always be remembered by the people as a beloved folk hero.
Dimitri would do whatever he needs to protect his people, so if the former empire/liecester said they wanted out eventually, I doubt he'd oppose as long as the relationships are good.
The church would ensure peace anyway.
Edelgard never trusted the slithers. In fact she was against all the shady shit they were doing. All she did was out of benefit to take down the church. She had to keep the facade with the uncle to keep them close and with their guard down.
He just did that so he could be related to Rhea somehow.
Yeah that's true I doubt he'd try and hold it. Avoid a civil war at least.
Don't be dumb user.
You can though. You can absolutely use someone while being used by them. Whoever ends up on top is the one who was better at using the other.
Be dumb how? You're applying real world logic to a world where much of that doesn't apply.
There is not a single S rank portrait that is good. What were they thinking? It's the only bad part of the game!
>After the slithers helped her accomplish her goal she skills them like a villain.
Breh TWSITD are about as comically black as they come, literally nothing bad comes off out wiping them off the face of the earth.
Trying to claim Edelgard is a villain based off that is asinine when every other route does it as well, knowingly or otherwise
In Hubert's mission, It is important not to save all the dark mages. You want some of them to die, and some to live. Hubert explains that if you save all the dark mages, then Slither will see you as a threat. But if you don't save any then the Slithers will see you as useless. Plus the dark mages that do survive will be loyal to you, see as they know how hard you fought to save them. All about thinking three steps ahead.
And if you think Arianrhod was an honest mistake, then I have a Dragon Lady religion to sell you.
Reading comprehension is your friend Edeltard-Chan.
And in the process she willingly supports their experiments and allows Innocents to be mutated into monsters just to bolster her military forces in the war she started. Get the fuck out of here, Edeltard.
At best FByleth is a queen regent and that's only until her son becomes an adult.
Think about succession in the game. The child inherits but since the child is too young they have a regent. The kingdom has this.
When Claude's grandfather dies he inherits his titles. I think it's safe to assume they don't mind if females inherit.
>She is the best mage in the game
Why retards keep saying this?? She is only better than anette and anette is the worst mage in the game, Lorenz and Hubert are much better because they have actual defensive capabilities
Lys kills 1 thing on player phase and does nothing more, she gets evaporated if anything touches her
Yeah, the immortal, leader of the church, queen regent.
Whoever she vouches for would garner the public's affection pretty easily becasue everyone loves the church.
Not him but Arianrhod was destroyed by the Slithers, her allies, but Edelgard blamed it in the church.
>He does feed Lysithea his HP and Def stat boosters he grows from the garden.
nosferatu and thyrsus you idiot
what part of "they already controlled the empire under the shadows" did you not understand, retard?
Edelgard couldn't simply just say "nah fuck you, I'm killing you all now" because it would have accomplished nothing. She would have been deleted and the slithers would have taken over the whole empire and do their own war against the church
You're a giant fucking retard who doesn't seem to understand Edelgard didn't have a fucking choice in the matter. It was either pretend to be allied to the slithers or get the axe.
>Completely rewrites the 10 thieves and Nemesis to be heroes rather than the assholes they really were and also emphasizes that their crests were gifts from God
>Humans completely believe her and place emphasis on keeping the crests which eventually leads to the shitty nobility system
>Single handedly controls the church and its religion which has effectively brainwashed 90% of Foldan
>Pretty much has a stranglehold on Foldan as any powers that are deemed a threat to the Church are immediately put down
I don't think so user.
Dedue's is okay, Lindhart and Bernie's looks not absolutely fucking disgusting too.
I would maybe cut them a bit of slack with how many they needed to make but they almost all use the same background and for the few characters that can romance both Byleths they just did a simple edit with the hands instead of different illustrations.
If your mages are taking hits you're using them incorrectly.
Annette isn't the worst mage in the game either.
at the moment she's crowned emperor she already has the support of the noble houses. at that point she held more power than arundel and could have wiped out the slithers.
That's right, Fodlan is the only functioning society in the setting, literally everywhere outside is nothing but death and destruction. Almyra? Dagda? What's that? These countries do not exist since they did not have their own dragon mommies to hold their hand. Fucking retard.
And she's not corrupt, in fact FByleth would just become Fodlan's Naga.
>Edelgard couldn't simply just say "nah fuck you, I'm killing you all now"
But that’s exactly what she ends up doing
>letting anything come near her and her massive range
pleb
Unga the Bunga did nothing wrong
>Humans completely believe her and place emphasis on keeping the crests which eventually leads to the shitty nobility system
You fucking retard. The houses of Nemesis' Ten Elites established the nobility system because they took over the fucking continent. Humans would have established the nobility on their own based on power, Crests or no Crests.
>And in the process she willingly supports their experiments
Yes she definitely doesn’t explicitly go out of her way, even knowing she likely won’t be believed, to show up as FE to say she would have stopped it had she known what TWSITD was up to.
It is clear that in this teeth clenched team up that there are lines she’s not willing to cross, we see it multiple times pre timeskip between Remire and Jeralt’s assassination. I don’t think she shows that if she’s the comically black villain you want her to be in your head
You edeltards can’t say they are morally gray when she sides with them yet at the same time they are satan incarnate when she betrays them. Can’t have it both ways she is either:
1. She’s evil for siding with evil people.
2. She’s evil for killing her allies when she’s done using them.
She sided with evil people who is willing to kill everyone instead of changing the world through her own strength like Dimitri and Claude. This alone makes her a much weaker character than the other two.
I wonder if Byleth can ascend or will have to.
Yeah, almyra's doing so well as a fucking bunch of savage barbarians who die for literally nothing like meme vikings
You could've used fucking brigid as a better example, but none of those other nations had dead dragon bodies to rape and murder each other with
AFTER the war was done and she was in control of everything, dipshit.
Did you not fucking do Hubert's paralogue where he explains they need the dubstepers close so they can use those OP weapons to win the war?
Since they have rounded ears and don't seem to be able to turn into a dragon, probably not.
Is it still possible to get the sothis ending if you go full edeltard? Doesn't your crest stone heart disappear?
From an armor morale standpoint I can understand why she did that, especially considering there are still likely slitherer spies in the ranks. I do wish she at least told her old classmates about that narrative wise
It was destroyed after Cornelia was killed. And Cornelia was killed by the Black Eagles, who intentionally did not share with the slithers that they were attacking Arianrhod. Why would Hubert and Edelgard not inform the slithers about their upcoming attack?
Edelgard killed millions to expose a bunch of shit that didnt hurt nobody.
I thought it was a shadow war, why would she need control of the continent for that
So you're telling me the Dragons and the Church re-wrote history in order to protect the people for 1000 years? Seems perfectly reasonable.
How can one empress be so based?
The Flame Emperor also looked really cool!
>It is clear that in this teeth clenched team up that there are lines she’s not willing to cross
And yet she crosses those lines by employing the use of demonic beasts in her army, even setting them loose on the streets of Embarr where the citizens were specifically noted not to have been evacuated in order to slow down the Kingdom army, while Hubert is ordering artillery strikes with no regard for civilian casualties.
Except not really. She doesn’t know where the fuck Shambala is unless that javelin is shit towards Arianrhod in CF. Any meaningful offensive is a failure until it’s taken out of the picture
>school exploration mode is replaced with Jeralt hanging out in a different bar every week
>Claude is a pussy
In the two routes I played he acted the exact same way. The only difference is in one route he had Jesus to unify the alliance and gather support from the seiros knights to actually enact that dream. You call him a pussy for leaving but he managed to keep his country safe for 5 years while also preventing a possible bloody civil war between the two factions. He can’t perform miracles, asking for him to single handedly get all of the alliance to go against the empire is like asking trump to get the south to love niggers, he just can’t do that.
>The houses of Nemesis' Ten Elites established the nobility system because they took over the fucking continent.
Not the guy you're replying to, but did you even play the game?
They didn't, they were defeated by Seiros and the first Emperor, who got Seiros' crest. Following that Fodlan was 100% adrestia.
The current system was presumably established by Seiros herself, since it has church at it's center.
You can still get it, it's really weird that you can though. I'm not sure how it works but in the game's files there are images showing Byleth with his original hair in the s supports for Rhea and Cyril, who are not recruitable on the BE route. It's possible they may have initially been able to join you, made the endings, then decided to not allow them to.
why in the loving fuck would she say it was the slithers and blow their "relation" with them when the whole point was to pretend to be on their good side until the war was over?
>Completely rewrites the 10 thieves and Nemesis to be heroes rather than the assholes they really were and also emphasizes that their crests were gifts from God
As apposed to telling the people that their gods are dead, humanity stole their power, and their families are using that power to conquer you.
>Humans completely believe her and place emphasis on keeping the crests which eventually leads to the shitty nobility system
Would have happened one way other, her plan prevented the mass chaos that would have ensued.
>Single handedly controls the church and its religion which has effectively brainwashed 90% of Foldan
The religion already existed, she's seen humanity wipe itself out before, almost a second time again, believe it or not those nutjobs need guidance.
>Pretty much has a stranglehold on Foldan as any powers that are deemed a threat to the Church are immediately put down
So does every organization if people come trying to kill them.
>slithers try to nuke Edgelord
>Hubert figures out where the nukes come from
wow that was so hard
Yes the nobility system would still exist, but at least be based on actual power and wisdom rather than people who just have a crest. Just about all the noble kids hate the crest system because it causes nothing but headaches and useless drama.
Those millions are dying one way or another senpai, TWSITD have shadow control of the empire and a plant in the kingdom primed to frame Dimitri and overthrow his rule. Edelgard decides to openly oppose them nothing is stopping Arundel/Thales from shitcanning her and doing it himself
Why doesn't Nemesis awakening in the church route and why doesn't Rhea lose control after eating the Slither nukes in Golden Deer
No shitposting here genuinely curious
>still waiting for her to stop torturing her prisoner(Rhea)
>still waiting for her to stop the slithers from nuking towns they lost control of
>still waiting for her to stop the experiments that are still going on regardless of her promised that she would have stopped them
I guess I will be waiting until the DLC when she actually tries to stop them from getting doing all of this shit instead of just saying she would.
These threads really make dislike my fellow anons. Some of you have a big problem with not thinking things through. Also talking about mechanic s you don't understand.
>yes please lady Edelgard let yourself be nuked so I can go and find their hideout
>rewrites history and leaves out the part about humans fucking over their own continent, committing genocide, killing their benevolent god and then desecrating her body and the bodies of her children.
>makes a thief that was a puppet of the mole people and his friends into heroes
>somehow not showing humans to be better than they actually are
______ WILL NOT MOVE
Just like the standard nobility system where the first son inherits everything and has historically led to a bunch of pointless assassinations and backstabbings.
History says the four saints and 10 elites led by Seiros defeated the evil Nemesis.
That's not even correct anyway. Just set her weapon to nosferatu, march her into range of all the enemies, then skip their turn.
>literally saying that it's okay to bluepill people
Do you not realize that Nemesis and co. were free to rampage over Fodlan for decades? What the hell do you think they were doing at that time, just being rape and pillage bandits the whole time?
Why is Goldoa so fucking lazy?
Since when did firstborns automatically gain wisdom and power?
The slithers are going to nuke them regardless, you moron.
The fact of matter is that Edelgard lied because it suited her, she's not any better than Rhea.
>Do you not realize that Nemesis and co. were free to rampage over Fodlan for decades?
Was it ever properly put in a timeframe? The period of time between him making spine sword out of the green loli and him getting stabbed by yandere Rhea that is?
The writers and developers wanted all the routes to seem unique in their own way by the end game. Continuity isn’t a big thing for video game companies. I seem to recall Fates team has both the writers in Conquest and Birthright in separate rooms with no communication with each other. Perhaps IS made the same mistake again?
Lol what? That happened anyways, in fact she orchestrated the internal conflicts of both nations. If she cared so much about Fodlan she wouldn’t be helping the slithers make it weaker. Only reason that the slithers failed was because of Byleth not her, fuck if she was successful in the routes that is not hers then world as we know it would have been permanently fucked.
Claude is a shittier person in non GD routes, though in a much subtler way then either Edelgard and Dimitri. In non GD routes we see how he never takes on true responsibility and his maturity never advances enough for him to become a true leader. He remains a naive and misguided kid who, while ultimately meaning well, absolutely shouldn't be in charge of leading a nation. He gambles with people's lives, making "bets" that are always never worth the potential losses they justify. On the BE and BL routes for example when you kill Hilda he is shocked and says he was relying on her retreating. He doesn't realize that, as the leader of the alliance, people are willing to die for him. He doesn't realize the importance of his leadership, and ultimately sends many of his troops to entirely avoidable deaths.
Because she's not just lying, but she's lying to her most trusted friends and generals who absolutely would not sell her out to the Slithers.
No it didn’t, the 10 elites were with nemesis even in the churches stories
Reading comprehension really isn't your strong point is it Edeltard?
Why do you guys like this game so much. It's really mediocre as a game.
Claude has lowkey pretty good development, not as pronounced as Dimitri's, but at least he gets some.
I mean there’s some continuity in birthright in conquest. Like how taco always gets launched into a canyon or flora always returns to the ice tribe.
because it has soul
it's been the best FE since FE9. Nothing but garbage since.
Why do you like your favorite game so much. It's really mediocre as a game.
Sothis is "gone" when you fuse with her to begin with, even if her crest stone breaks it doesn't make a huge difference. She was always just a spirit who was anchored to you by her crest stone.
When she comes back in her S-rank that's actually her straight up ghost with no frills.
>The Ten Elites (十傑 Jikketsu) are a group of characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Legend states that they fought alongside Seiros during the War of Heroes against the Fell King Nemesis over a thousand years ago.
>The Ten Elites were Blaiddyd, Riegan, Lamine, Goneril, Charon, Fraldarius, Gloucester, Dominic, Gautier, and Daphnel. There also an eleventh Elite named Maurice, but his name was erased from history because he became a Black Beast who killed and consumed many.
>Together with the Four Saints, the Ten Elites are revered as the heroes of ancient Fódlan, the original holders of the Crests, and the founders of many noble bloodlines. A number of locations across Fódlan are also named after them.
>In truth, the Ten Elites were allied with Nemesis and participated in the slaughter of the Nabateans, the children of the Goddess, at Zanado. Many of the Heroes' Relics wielded by the Ten Elites were crafted from the corpses of the Nabateans by Those Who Slither in the Dark. The only survivors of this incident were Seiros and the Four Saints. Due to the Ten Elites being responsible for the massacre of his people, The Wind Caller is extremely hostile towards Claude, Riegan's descendant.
>activity points are tied to how many drinks you can take
Over a hundred years. The Adrestian Empire had existed for 91 years by the time Seiros killed Nemesis.
Idk man. Dragon laguz are super cool tho. It seemed like immaculate one seiros didn’t have the kind of power/presence like goldoa dragons do
youtu.be
Dude, Nemesis and his cronies where out and about for like 100 years. They had kids and ruled most of Fodlan with their super dragon weapons. Nobility with Crests where gonna happen to matter what.
>be retarded bandit
>literally kill god, drink her blood, and pick apart her body for her bones and heart to make into a sword
>get god powers
>murder all but 4 of her children with your newfound power
>call your 10 best friend bandits to drink
their blood and tear apart their body for cool weapons too
now, following this, what sounds more likely
>continue with your bandit lifestyle under the assumption that there's nothing that can stop you with your new powers
or
>settle down, get into politics, establish a nobility and complex political system
>in fact she orchestrated the internal conflicts of both nations
Where in the world did you come to this conclusion from? Lmao. Edelgard is not privy to EVERYTHING Arundel/Thales is up to. This should be made clear by what goes down in Remire and Jeralt’s death
>if you disobey us directly again we will nuke you, your entire army, your capital or whatever we wish
>Ok, we will lie and just say the enemy did it to motivate our people and take care of them after we're done with the current problems.
This is somehow the same as manipulating an entire continent worth of people for a thousand years for the sake of what? Just staying in control? Since Rhea had an obvious god complex?
who the fuck are you going to pillage for a hundred years straight
>implying you don't do both
You mean
>keep becoming bandits
>just take over the whole continent instaed as kings
>Byleth
>Him
Sugoi desu ne
>quoting a wiki
See, this is why you’re wrong, you use a fucking secondary source instead of playing the game, here’s a quote from the game about the official church story of the 10 elites
>Precisely. Initially, Nemesis and the 10 Elites worked together to bring
peace to Fódlan. But soon their ambitions got the best of them, and they clashed, using their sacred weapons on anyone they chose, strong and weak alike.
Pretty much that's what Byleth changes in Claude. They force to acknowledge that he's a leader and that the people will willingly die for him. That responsibility isn't something that Claude will acknowledge on his own. Byleth gives Claude direction and makes him strive to be a better person, and a great leader.
>different drinks earn you different stat buffs for the week
>weapon classes are trained through bar fights
Fuck off otome/yuri shitter.
Byleth becomes a mortal human again in BE. In other routes they become the holy immortal archbishop of ultrafaggotry or whatever.
why would you keep being a bandit when you can rule the world as kings
Not immortal, just long living, like other manaketes.
>be retarded bandit
>kill god
Unga the Bunga was truly the best character
Did you fucking read anything that was said in Dimitri and Claude’s route? Is she totally blinded by what Hubert was doing behind the scenes to at least Dimitri? Edelgard is a bigger retard than I thought what else is she blinded to? If she literally doesn’t know anything perhaps she should leave the ruling thing to the professionals.
He was quite a bit just more subtle. I think he's relatively underappreciated.
It might just get drown out between the the Dimitri Edelgard rivalry.
Alright I’m actuslly convinced you have no idea what you’re talking about LOL. There’s no way you’ve played GD’s routento conclusion and still think this after Rhea’s exposition
His development is a lot more subtle then Edelgard or Dimitri but its there. The difference is he never had antagonistic goals even from the start, though it's clear that the title he is inheriting doesn't befit him. It's not because he is an awful person of course, he just genuinely doesn't have the maturity to hold the position. He doesn't realize what the role of being a leader commands of you. The idea of people dying to protect him goes over his head, he is rather humble but still too naive in how important he really is.
I think what makes him interesting is that he's a good example of a character whose motivations or morals never are altered, at least dramatically, while still having meaningful development.
You are so fucking stupid
I quoted the game, you aren’t disagreeing with me, you’re disagreeing with the game itself
Doesn't change the method that Sothis comes back to you. Though honestly after the shit you pull on BE she should ditch your ass, you're not worthy of her love. Or her huge butt.
Edelgard lied to for her benefit just to push her narrative she's no better than Rhea.
....That's how they're formed user.
SOTHIS BOOTY
Actually yes, she is kept in the dark by a LOT of what’s going on against TWSITD by Hubert. He reveals this in his supports.
That’s an underdiscussed point in all this concerning their relationship
He's talking about the story the church told to everyone, not what actually happened.
I'm convinced none of you play the game you just shitpost here
Dude? Did you read any of the books in the monastery library? Rhea and probably a few others rewrote history to make the 10 elites look like good guys.
So she doesn’t know anything at all, but she’s also not a pawn being used by both Hubert and the slithers. Right...
REVENGE IT LIVES
youtube.com
You mean the route that reverses the consequences of the choices that Byleth made?
It would be accurate to say that she is bluepilling the continent if three houses was an allegory for religion in real life. However in three houses the gods are actually real.
to be fair, some of the houses of the ten elites did turn against nemesis, as evidenced by the existence of sacred weapons with their matching crests.
I am not going to exert the energy to pull up in game and screenshot Rhea straight up acknowledging that stuff was all bullshit she made up, fuck off
no actual reason, anons have been arguing about the story for a month but it's very contrived and nonsensical. Characters are interesting though
she made her church based on lies and deception and kept her facade for nearly a millennia, brainwashing people into her false faith and gaining influence with her fake church over plenty of noble houses across the continent.
I wanted to date Hubert. Fuck you
>lying about a stolen candy makes you just as bad as someone lying about killing someone
Why don't other routes get a Gilbert character? They each have possibilities. Deers could have the woman hero or Nadir. Eagles could have death knight or a dubstepper.
Church could get Rhea.
And she could have instead just create a full on theocratic state with her as the leader after what happened.
But she didn't.
Why would they be with him as zombies then?
user play the game or at least read this.
imgur.com
Laziness, that's it really. It's possible they may have intended to havemore characters and, while adding Gilbert, decided the roster was too big already.
because it was probably their descendants who betrayed their fathers.
That revenge line makes me think she really is supposed to join you on a DLC route where you go fuck up the slitherers.
>lying about who is responsible for the destruction of a city in order to push your own agenda is somehow not a bad thing
Come on now user
It's because Dedue is gone for part if the route. Or gone forever.
Sacred Weapons (Dragon Artifacts) are not Relics (Dragon bones) though. They don’t need Crests.
>stabs cunt
>walks out onto the balcony of the royal city of Enbarr
>everyone cheering for you
T-they know I/Dimitri just killed their emperor right? Why were they so happy for the death of their emperor?
The "god" in the three houses is literally dead though.
She doesn't answer to prayers or anything, like the teachings claim.
Also, she's a dragon alien that shared her tech with cavemen, not any kind of creator god.
They're suited for their crests. And it would be weird for the dragons to make relic weapons.
They don't need Crests but it's clear they were designed to be wielded by specific Crest users, otherwise they should all have the Crests of the Saints out of convenience.
>Nemesis wakes up after Black Eagles' route
>Edelgard probably shits a brick over him actually being a piece of shit but she probably gets over it and kills him with Byleth's help
>Nemesis wakes up after Blue Lions
>is greeted by a rested up Rhea, Dimitri and Byleth
>he gets MASTER SCHEMER'D in Golden Deers
Poor Nemesis
>whoever the player(God) chooses that side ultimately wins
This is a pretty simple concept yet it manage to elude you completely.
Why is she blushing over water?
She must have been really thirsty.
>3H threads are always about the story and Edelgard/Dimitri/Rhea
I wish I could actually join the conversation but I still haven't finished my BE playthrough I "took a break" from over 2 weeks ago at chapter 15 before I could reach the end. I don't even know how I made it that far cause the gameplay is so piss easy and boring. Ended up just spoiling myself by checking threads now since I don't know if I'll bother to finish. Feels bad man.
Because the war is finally over.
It's the same empire that let Deude just go and kill Edelgard.
Keep in mind she had just finished using them as a human shield and non-BE Edelgard in general is not exactly the most benevolent ruler
Are you illiterate, the entire post chain was about the churches made up history, no shit
She is somehow able to restore life in Fodlan and control time though, I'd say that makes her a deity. The teachings are bullshit though, she's been dead for a long time until Byleth comes around
you literally passed by the imperial army unleashing demonic beasts into the streets and using siege weapons after forbidding the citizens from evacuating the capital
>This body has it's limits...
Yeah we're getting a Sothis route. Not like a dragon goddess has ever made a physical manifestation to party right?
Saged this shit thread
t. Seiros
Here’s a literal dead dragon.
I don't care if she's bad.
She cute
You know I doubt Edelgard and Byleth could kill him. It took claude and god Byleth to do it.
Chad Grandpa didn't deserve this, but at least he has the best music in the game
You do realize in this that she admits that she was that desperate for revenge and even did some "questionable" things for that revenge? Rhea has such a boner for half truths that even that entire conversation implies that she still isn't telling the full truth.
She's developing WMDs, she'll be fine.
Fuck the old boss
I couldn't possibly be Seiros. That's silly. Everyone knows that Rhea won't let Seiros use the computer. I might get the monastery IP banned again.
You get Death Knight for one map in BEagles right? Does he and Mercedes get to interact at all because that seems like a wasted opportunity if not.
There's no reason for her to lie in the context of that scene, it wouldn't benefit her at that point. The game provides no other credible source of information on those past events so if she isn't telling the truth at that point, then it's unknowable and not worth discussion
Something something mortals exceeding gods or some shit so Byleth can still hold their own against Nemesis without a rock
You're a fucking psychopath if you think she's lying in that conversation.
Literally the only living person in that entire fucking city that doesn’t hate her just got done killing her. You’re. It a good person if the only people that like you are super fucking evil.
>You do realize in this that she admits that she was that desperate for revenge and even did some "questionable" things for that revenge?Yes, she's apologizing for not giving the full truth of the current Fodlan's history.
> Rhea has such a boner for half truths that even that entire conversation implies that she still isn't telling the full truth.
She focus more on Foland's history in GD, in Silver Snow she goes into detail about Byleth's origin.
how many times can the immaculate one stack buffs on those golems? im playing turtle mode as fuck, but i feel like if she keeps doing it even byleth is going to get one shot
Considering she's using them as shields in Golden Deers and, regardless of actual opinion on her actions, started up a five year war, it's not too surprising that the common folk may be pissed at her in a route other than her own.
So did Lysithea eventually die of crest cancer or not?
That map forces you to play aggressive by design. If you're playing slow and clump all your units together you're going to have a bad time.
>The game provides no other credible source of information on those past events so if she isn't telling the truth at that point
Anons believe in Edelgard's inconsistent shitty account my dude.
Could just be the Kingdom army cheering, but like other anons said, the imperials may be cheering the death of a tyrant
Depends on who you paired her with.
Depends on if you paired her up with someone who can cure it
i fucked up and all my god weapons are broken, and ive got no way to repair anything since i ahve 1 smithing stone :/
Half truths =/= lies.
Okay Edeltards defend this:
>in GD/BL route dubsteppers are dead
>she knows they are dead
>both offered to work with her in passing the reforms she wanted If she would agree to an armistice
>nope lol gonna use my citizens as human shields while I take these alien steroids so I can turn into a xenomorph
What does this fucking accomplish?
If you S rank her or she gets and ending with Claude, Linhardt or Hanneman she lives. In every other ending she dies "very young", so presumably 2-5 years after the war.
Depends on her paired ending, Claude, Byleth, and Linhardt can dick and cure her,
What is Edelgard doing for the 5 years you're gone?
Shouldn't she be able to reinforce the kingdom rebellion or the alliance rebellion to full take one by then?
It seems like she's been just loitering. She had an army amassed. It said she took heavy losses but at the same time they were already mobile.
Seems silly.
Yeah that's what I mean, I don't see the point in arguing that Rhea's lying at the end because otherwise there is no truth to anything in the plot and no point in arguing
He’s taking about Rhea’s conversation in GD right before the last map you fucking retard. Keep your Edelgard hateboner in check just long enough to actually have some reading comprehension
what half-truth would she even have to conceal? the agarthians weren't actually dicks?
>Hubert
Of all the guys you can romance in this game, you pick the one that unironically looks like a school shooter?
I'm not even gay, but if I were, I wouldn't have taste as shit as that.
Yes. If you don’t pair her with the right person she dies shortly later according to her epilogue tiles.
she makes her intentions painfully obvious before the war with them even begins
The combined forces of Faerghus’ standing army and the church of Seiros, along with limited points of access considering the Alliance wasn’t exactly cooperating and your only other route route in was through fucking Arianrhod, it’s actually not all that much of a surprise the war was at a standstill in that timeline
She thought she killed Dimitri and the Alliance took a neutral stance. That being said she attacked them anyways.
>There are people who didn't pick Blue Lions
Three houses is your favourite game?
She unironically did nothing wrong, you're fucking stupid if you believe literal slither propaganda. She had her race genocided and instead of going full on 1488 she devoted her life to perpetuating peace in Fodland. The church gave people a purpose to cooperate together. Rhea also takes in the homeless and orphaned children who aren't even believers and gives them a purpose.
The only possible thing you could dislike her for is the emperiments, but are you forgetting that if not for Rhea (You) the player character wouldnt even exist? And she fucking succeeded in bringing Sothis back
You dont hate Sothis too do you?
Why share when you can have it all?!
I find no reason to believe the woman who just took a nuke to the face defending your group, who's in her right mind in this route and who is dying had any reason to churn out lies at that point.
Semantics. Even if you could identify which things are half-truths, the game never provides an alternative resolution or answer. I doubt the route so focused on lore and history would lie to the player at the very end for no reason
This guy is right. Why does she need the entire continent dead to wage a shadow war? Why not an actual war? What purpose is there to even wage a shadow war when the Slitherers hiding themselves is one of their greatest strengths? Expose them to the light and let the masses destroy them.
Horse shit, lying by omission is absolutely a thing
MOMMY GOOD
EGDELGARD BAD
Edelgard attacking on Grondor field is retarded no matter the route. Taking a defensive position in one of the best forts on the continent would have been much better.
Even if Claude and Dimitri managed to work together (Which is doubtful since Dimitri is a psycho man in most routes) they would have only matched her forces. They still would have had a divided leadership as well.
Very dumb. Each Lord is retarded in this fight.
BUT CHURCH BAD
mfw i see edeltards seethe
""""""""""""""""""""peace"""""""""""""""""""
>edelgard is ideologically consistent and focused on her goals, and this is a good trait
>except for dimitri, where all of this becomes a bad trait
She's super butthurt about not getting to fuck (You) at that point
What did she lie about? Was it kind of like Edelgard lying and manipulating everybody around her for all of Part 1?
b-but muh tragedy in DUSCUUUUUUR
Dimitri admits he was wrong, goes through redemption and develops.
All three things Edelgard misses.
Based cancer loli
The knights were scattered and looking for Rhea mainly. The Faerghus army could only hold a stand still against Cornelia. Imperial troops would have been the turning point.
The empire already has Arianhold I believe. Manuela is in charge.
But why
Yeah, my sis was finishing up the BE route and this pic comes up. We were barely holding it together.
>Be Me
>like both of them as sisters
>Edelgard attacking on Grondor field is retarded no matter the route. Taking a defensive position in one of the best forts on the continent would have been much better.
The best fort on the continent took an ICBM and is destroyed. Edelgard didn’t want a battle in a open field, Dimitri rushes out to intercept them to avoid a siege he would lose.
Edeltards only argument is attacking another piece of shit kinda pathetic. Morally she gets shit on by Claude and Dimitri.
I’d say there’s a radical difference between becoming a legitimately mentally ill murderhobo towards someone who wasn’t even directly responsible (although admittedly with the evidence he’s going off it looks that way early on) for the life altering event you’re angsting over and fighting what is essentially a Casius Belli for the freedom of humankind (ironically based of intentional disinformation fromthebperson she’s trying to depose)
>Rhea never tells the whole truth
>We have no way of knowing what the truth even is because of her
She's a literal Fell Dragon in her route and on the cusp of becoming one in every other route
How can anyone side with her or believe she isn't evil
This is why I don't like Edelgard, her route's too short and cucks her out of a full character arc. The only flaw that's addressed is her distrusting others, which is fixed by marrying Byleth, but her singlemindedness and historical misconceptions aren't addressed because they forgot to make more chapters
>Rhea never tells the whole truth
nice headcanon, retard
It was at this point that I realize I picked the wrong path.
Edelgard never wanted justice. She wanted power and to inflict pain and suffering on other people forever. This also involved her god complex and the fact that she is the living embodiment of all the sins she claims the rest of the world has. She's jealous that the Slitherers have the tech, Rhea has the cult, etc. and, like the nobility she claims to hate, defines herself by whoever she can force below her by any means.
The fort isn't Arianhold. It's the "Old general one " which only gets blown up in the Deer route after they take it.
It's still there in every route at the time.
Why weren't they in the fortress as is? Instead of having her army on open ground past the fort?
It's nonsensical user.
She never married Byleth, she probably just kept him as a fuckbuddy because he’s not noble. Ultimately she probably had a sham marriage with Ferdi and only to produce a legitimate heir where she can give the Empire to before run in off somewhere.
BL > GD = Church >>>>>>>>>>>> BE
I did all routes and edelgard was a fucking slog to deal with, I even married her because people said it'd redeem her and it didn't.
Ah so you haven’t played GD/Church to completion then, gotcha. No point debating this with you further
>how can anyone side with her?
Game doesn't actually let you, she's either dead, deposed, or married to you (after fighting her) in the end. No victory condition in Rhea's case
She's kind of a bitch to everyone.
you mean the routes where she tells the whole truth she's been concealing
i can't believe edeltards are this stupid
BE >>> GD > CS > BL
>She never married Byleth, she probably just kept him as a fuckbuddy because he’s not noble.
Nice headcanon. Edelgard dismantles the nobility system.
Arianrhod's destruction was set in stone the moment Edelgard decided that her plan was to kill Cornelia. Edelgard made the decision to have that city nuked by her allies, because getting to personally kill the tittymonster made the exchange worth it to her.
To assume otherwise would be to imply that edelgard and hubert do not actually know about the nukes, which would mean that they do not understand the slitherers enough to properly fight them, and that their attempts in the epilogue would fail.
Sounds to me like the writing in this game is kind of shit.
Isn’t that particular fort on the other side of the continent?
Is Flayn a dragon?
>:(
But user, you got all of that wrong about Rhea and Blyeth.
Felix's post timeskip design is amazing.
Read the epilogue for her and Ferdi and then her and Byleth. She obviously still believes in the nobility system. Seriously you realize that she lies about everything correct?
>Rhea must be lying in the route where she has no real reason to anymore because uhhh Edelgard dindu
>Edelgard's rallying cry to the imperial army is about how the Church is responsible for splitting the Kingdom and Alliance from the empire
>When these two territories actually rebelled indepedently, with the Church only involved in postwar negotiations
Pretty savvy of her, actually
It really isn't for the most part, but due to waifufags, it looks worse than it actually is.
Based Hubie, by far my favorite character in the game
They’re getting Fort Merceus and Arianrhod confused. Arianrhod is Faerghus territory while Merceus is Empire controlled
OH NO NO NO NO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING DEATH KHIGHT SAVE ME
>Church doesn't interfere with others' affairs
>Now excuse me, we need to genocide the Western Church for being infidels
You have them mixed up. Arianhold "the silver maiden" is in the kingdom "The stubborn old general " is in the empire. You have to take it to get to enbarr.
If they have green hair, green eyes and refuse to let you see their ears in this game, they are probably a dragon.
shh user we need to keep arguing until the FE4 remake comes out, then start arguing about whether or not Arvis did nothing wrong
>infidels
>attempted murder
they literally plotted to kill the archbishop, moron
>Haven't play the game yet
OH NO NO NO
Edelgard is hyper blackpilled and basically tries to kill the world for the propaganda Jews only to shunt the actual resolution into an epilogue that is so rushed and implausible that it reads like something her ministry of propaganda pushed out. Why the fuck does she have a "shadow war" with the Slitherers when the whole point of this brutal war was to get the continent's full strength to wipe them out of existence? If the war takes a long time, how does her land not get nuked?
edelshart literally incited them to rebel, and so they were killed in self defense, play the fucking game
Considering Rhea’s admittance to wanting to dimish human power it’s not exactly surprising the church would lead in favor of succession
>the same Western Church that rallied an army to march on the Central Church and ostensibly planned an assassination attempt
Lel
It's clear to me that Blue Lions and Golden Deer had the most effort put into it while Church and Black Eagles were added later.
>Church deals with Church affairs
Where is the problem?
>people hating on mommies
What's wrong with this fucking board?
>just keep trying to kill out leader we won’t do anything
This would have made more sense right?
THOTs are temporal and fickle, bros are forever loyal
edeltards don't actually understand what they read, no big surprise
Once again, these two positions are exactly the same, its making a conclusion off of information you have without having access to all the infirmation, and then starting bloody conflict over it. Rvery problem you have with dimitri is something edelgard also does, just as much, except that unlike edelgard dimitri gets better in his own route.
Edelgard really did a number on you disgusting incels lmao
Fucking based
Arvis did everything wrong, he teamed up with a child burning deathcult just so he could stop racism and then killed his friend for no good reason
The ideal route is blue lions combined with golden deers.
Oh it makes sense why the Church might want to split things up, but Loog for example rebelled for his own reasons which the Empire is probably still pissed about. I just thought it was good propaganda
did everyone just forget that even your dad doesn't like Rhea and the church?
that dedue is staring right into my soul
He's only suspicious of Rhea.
Edeltards are reaching for newer heights of stupidity each passing day.
Based loog
Shit name tho desu
My dad also aimed his bow at people for target practice while drunk
did YOU forget that even Jeralt started coming around on his distrust of Rhea, even remarking that maybe he never had a reason to flee the monastery?
shhh the narrative dude! Edelgard bad!
Because she never explained what she did to Byleth.
You are right, we should join the side that actually killed him.
Is it ever explained what happened to Dimitri's step mom? Did I miss it?
It some sort of Zuko situation?
You are a fucking idiot man
Hello retard. Rhea built the empire. As in she literally actually built the capital city in her dragon form. She very easily could have made ten leagues under ten crests, but instead she built a united empire.
Blue Lions characters + Golden Deer lore revelations = perfect route
The gameplay is the main reason I havent played it yet. The story has yet to win me over enough to outweigh playing persona emblem.
An user said it was in GD, which I was saving for the DLC
>Rhea hides facts about the truth on each route
>She implies she's doing just this
>You have to play both routes to get "everything"
Retard
They mistranslated Lugh, which is a shame. Glad they used the alternative spelling of Bladud for Dimitri's last name though
Oh he defiantly hates her so much. Agrees to take up his old position and lets his only child become a professor. He also never regretted leaving Rhea in the first place and realized he should had just talked with her. You know what he really wants? Byleth to team up with the people who killed him.
Dad's also the guy who took his shield off the one time he ends up getting stabbed in the back. His judgment calls aren't the best.
why would she go in-depth into creating artificial vessels for the goddess in her GD exposition.
not okay when the fucking gacha game has better art and art variety
The absolute state of this kid
>Western church didn't do nothing.
Even those of Duscur have more pride than that.
That shield kept clipping into his model in every cutscene and it was driving me nuts
>art variety
That's a bad part of the game, a consistent artstyle is better.
hes the hottest dude in the game and you cant even marry him
She’s tangentially responsible for his wife’s death and his daughter-son’s autism, of course he’s going to have hard feelings. Also see
What are the best pairings? So far I'm only committed to 4. I've just hit the timeskip and managed to recruit everyone but Ferdinand, but I heard I can still get him later on.
Dimitri/Marianne
Ashe/Ingrid
Caspar/Hilda
Felix/Leonie
>dad is suspicious of the church
>better side with his the one enabling his murderers to destroy it
>Edelgard good
>Why?
I thought that was a rather good element and fleshed him out well.
It's nice to see someone who noticed it and sees the character in a similar way I do.
I think all three lords sort of suffer in a way from Byleth not siding with them, and give into their character flaws, it seems to be by design though it's much more subtle with Claude.
I did a no recruit Lions run and ended up with
Dimitri/Dedue
Felix/Ingrid
Sylvain/Mercedes
Ashe/Annette
All the endings were pretty good, I don't think you can really go wrong
>is like asking trump to get the south to love niggers
Uhhh
Who did you even marry?
It's because Claude is good at making himself look good. Remember that this kid bolted off alone with no regard for anything else when he was attacked by bandits and later joked about it. You can't really tell what he was thinking at the time. He may have made himself a decoy like Dimitri thought or maybe he knew about Jeralt's company being in the nearby town and was running straight for them, or he could have just been a yellow-bellied coward who was fine with letting the others die while he escaped to safety.
you can pick sothis cant you?
Shamir, but mostly because I liked her design. I decided that I wanted to pair all the students with each other while I went after one of the neutral characters
Holy shit do Edeltards even play the fucking game?
Because that stuff is important to Byleth personally and she has no reason to hide it if she isn't being manipulative
She even hides shit from you on Church
She can't be trusted
>PICK
>A
>GOD
>AND
>PRAY
As a Dimitrifag I will defend Edelgard this in BL. Her capital/court is still infested with them. She literally uses them to turn her into a crest beast. Why she didn't tell Dimitri when it was just the four of them and he was willing to listen is a mystery, but she wasn't without Slithers in her court until Dimitri's rampage through the throne room killing the rest of them.
Claude ended up being my favorite lord. Not sure about character. I think Felix beats him.
because it didn't come up. she tells you the whole truth about nemesis when it's relevant and she tells you the truth about your mother's life and death when that was relevant.
She hides information that she later reveals on the brink of death, of course she can't be trusted but she's forced into telling the truth once Nemesis wakes up and the church's facade is broken
your dad was an undying monster that had to be killed with dubstep mole people steel, because certain dragon mommy gave him some of her draconic blood
So does Hubert get remotely likable? I've gotten his c support with Byleth and some c supports with others and he's just so miserably one note.
I really miss Dedue and Hilda.
FE3H has deep lore
She's a stubborn idiot who refuses to stray from her path even when its apparent that there is nothing to gain from it. People can argue that its because of some manic desire on her part to be the one with the power to create change, but what I see is that she's just a developmentally stunted chuuni who is unable to roll with the punches and adapt when things didnt go her way.
why would someone hate Ignatz
He's Oberstein except dumber and with less personality. Enjoy
He's one note but gets much more entertaining as the story/supports progress. His devotion to Edelgard is pathetically lame compared to Dedue's with Dimitri however
I like making Hubert and Edelgard pick up horse shit.
Edelgard literally did nothing wrong. Her war change Fodlan for the better good even if you don't agree with her drastic actions and views. Also the entire Fodlan used to be just Adrestrian Empire alone before the split, she's just taking it back.
Is it as funny as Dimitri eating grass?
>Claude calls her naive in the prologue for sounding like a cynical idiot
>she absolutely chimps out
She has trouble with any sort of opposition or criticism
He ended up being completely useless in my play through. He couldn't even damage units. I had to bench him.
Very disappointing.
>"for the better good"
>other nations aren't allowed sovereignty
This must be falseflag
Dimitri explains why her new world won't work.
>So you think I'm strong.
It really made me laugh.
>weaksauce sniper
>wears thick glasses
>drawfag
Despite the Bad Writing Emperor's many issues, I kind of appreciate that one is a consistent personality trait. Caspar calls her self-centered to her face, too.
That line was actually baffling given the tone of the conversation, I have to believe it's a localization thing
Raph is discount dedue but at least he has a personality. Ignatz is discount [every archer] combined with the least interesting story of any of them. Also the part where other commoners like mercedes leonie and dorothea had to go through so much shit to get the opportunity to go to Garreg Mach, even nobles who were forced to go like lorenz or ingrid understand the obligation, and ignatz is constabtly bitching about how his parents forced him to go.
any more of these?
People are either just anti-religion by default, or are mad that her story is a lie without understanding why she lied. The entire idea was to not only give people purpose and promote peace, but to make humans look less like a bunch of assholes for their dragon autism.
>NO DAMAGE
>NO DAMAGE
>NO FUCKING DAMAGE
Like yeah he can get two shot by strong mages but holy fuck. Even against Demonic Beasts he’s a fucking rock.
WEAK!
I prefer to think that he is also a slitherer plant, designed to bait edelgard into a false sense of security while also guiding her along the path they have chosen for her. It makes his personality significantly less one-note.
I don't think it is. As other user said Caspar tells her
>You know what your problem is? You make everything about yourself.
>tfw made him a War Master for gauntlet quads
>worried he'd lose DEF after leaving Fortress Knight
>still tanks fucking everyone despite being levels behind
WEAK
Hubert follows Edelgard because he was raised to and he loves her.
Dedue follows Dimitri because he respects him and has given him something to live for.
Hilda gains respect for Claude and follows him to her death.
>fed him some Talismans and res herbs
>gave him a Res shield
>use the res spell Manuela can cast on allies
>made him learn the healing focus skill
>Dedue becomes a literal wall
MOMMY
I just mean the way it's written and delivered. Her other lines seething about her own self-righteousness felt more in character
Don't forget the tomahawk for potential kills.
Though his accuracy is lacking.
that goes to show you that edeltard is abusing the power she was born into to create a society where "birthright means nothing" in which she would have failed day 1.
dimitri has followers due to his character. she has followers because she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and hubert was made to be that way before he knew what she was like. and on top of it she has the audacity to say he doesn't get the commoners, after he had been living as a vagrant for 4 years.
why the fuck does this character exist?
You wish yankee.
She's satisfying to kill as an antagonist
leonie talking about him literally all the when talking to byleth drove me nuts as well
She's using the power that she was forced to receive to destroy its foundations. She makes it clear that she doesn't want any more bad to come anymore from the Crest system and the nobility system given simply because of a crest.
You see people who basically get abandoned by the Crest system or the flaws of the Church which proves Edelgard's point.
Edelgard was forced to get this power which she never wanted and basically wants to get rid of it altogether.
What followers? Edelgard's basically has been alone her entire life with ONLY Hubert.
>wanted to see the bonds
>seteth was based
>felix fucked lysithea over but hey at least she baked herself into obscurity
>manu/doro
>leonie alone: literally Jeralt II
>FLAYN ALONE
>cath and shamir
I didn't expect to be most disappointed in the outtro of all things
She's literally a fucking supervillain.
I love Rhea
should elaborate that I wanted to see the bonds which is why most of the characters that could reach A, had reached A
Does anyone know if it's purely randomized, because there's no way in hell lys got the most hearts with felix
ouch that scathing 17th century insult really cut me to my core
maybe if you actually talked to someone who isn't white, you might realize they're just people too
I still don't get how people think only crests could lead to nobility. In real life nobility came about without any magic, and they based their position on the divine right of birth, that their wealth was a gift from god with no doctrinal backing for that position. The point being, nobility would exist regardless.
I wanted to love Edelgard bros... why did they make her so fucking retort it?
> In real life nobility came about without any magic, and they based their position on the divine right of birth
saying you're somehow directly ordained by a higher power is sort of unfounded
which is to say "magical"
of course real life magic is what it's always been
a load of well manufactured horseshit
Fodlan turned out to be better than before after the war. It doesn't matter if Fodlan is under Dimitri, Edelgard, or Byleth.
to bait
>i must protect her feelings
types to come out of the gutters
Magic isn't real, user. Nobility never had any magic power to flaunt as if it was a divine gift, and yet they claimed their status was a divine gift that justified their behavior and wealth regardless.
>magic isn't real
Oh, to be unenlightened again...
Im saying convincing the uninformed and devout to believe you've acquired the gift of divinity is akin to magic and blood
>pathetically lame compared to Dedue's with Dimitri
That's not fair. Dedue and Dimitri are amazing.
It's much flimsier yet leads to the same result, which is my point, that the crests aren't to blame for a system that would come about anyway.
Make Raphael a fucking Assasin, some user said he did it for the lulz, I copied him and he became an absolute Wrecking ball.
Units with fists shouldn't be fast, if anything I'm surprised people aren't turning Felix into a Warmaster more often, most are making him a brigand just to stack his crest with fiendish blow, committing all the way to a punching God isn't hard at all.
>what happened and defined the hierarchies of real civilizations since recorded history irl is much flimsier than blatant arcane magic
you fucking what
he has extreme gap moe
>there are plenty of battalions that overcome +5 attack while buffing crit/avo/res a plenty
talk about gimmicky
Ive found though that GK/brigand specs definitely hit the hardest; and literally only abusing 2-3 triangle attacks and diamond axe on freikugel was the only way i could do enough damage to overcome nemesis' DEF
>Queens don't really take power
This is a load of shit, even ignoring the current queen of England and her near-useless position, you're forgetting Queen Elizabeth and Victoria, both of whom were rulers in their own right. Or we can go back further to the Eastern Roman Empire and mention Empress Irene, Zenobia, Ada of Caria, or how about a quick trip to the east for Wu Zetian? I can go on. Queens taking power in history is far, far from unheard of, it's just not 'normal.' But having an immortal dragonish person is not normal either.
girls like that look
see: the true crime community
It's a problem with her route, because it simply failed to commit.
Make her a moe moe waifu like Lucina with a real inner conflict and shit, good.
Make her a straight villain with a thirst for power, conquest and reform, good.
Don't mix them both, it doesn't work and it suffers.
I can fix him!
I-it doesn't matter that he yells Edelgards name when we do it...
I'm saying their basis for claiming divine right is flimsier than actual maggot you dumbass.
>being a straight villain is good
I feel like this game actually tried to make no such thing as good and bad
like literally the only character whose motive makes no sense is nemesis
everyone else has reasons for which they do what they do
now not all the reasons make much sense or are good, but even pretimeskip the FEmperor voices their displeasure towards kronya/solon and DK mostly minds his own business
You can have solid reasons and still be a villain, but you can't combine that with being a dindu waifu.
I'm going to say it, I love Dedue and Dimitri but Hilda hits me right on the feels man.
Her entire character is all about being stunted by her Ultimate Gigachad Maximus of a bro, despite having talent and growths rivaling a fucking lord she doesn't see why trying is a good thing if you aren't going to be as the ultimate Gigachad Maximus, literally afraid of disappointing.
Growing in Fodlands locket witnessing people die meaningless deaths to Almyrans and people praising heroes she develops the phylosophy of never trying and how it is worthless to sacrifice, and yet if you teach her her A support is about finding the strength to protect others.
In routes that aren't golden Deer if you have to kill her she either forgives Mariane or dies standing in that bridge protecting Claude.
No matter how you look at it Hilda was the best fucking character, we don't deserve the Gorilla.
>stunted by her Ultimate Gigachad Maximus of a bro, despite having talent and growths rivaling a fucking lord
Just how powerful is her brother?
1v1 nemesis by himself, without taking out the 10 hero shitters. Only came out wounded and not dead
my greentext still stands
as if basis matters when you're talking about IRL established foundations that date to antiquity
He defends Fodlan from the Almyrans with only a handful of soldiers and his personal brigade of amazons, an effort that previously needed the attention of the entire alliance and kingdom.
He's probably Nemesis tier. He could've ended the war in 3 weeks by soloing the imperial army and Edelgard if hadn't been stuck at Fodlans locket.
i haven't played BE, but isn't the dindu angle normally just placed forward by people who actually only played BE?
I wasn't talking about batallion, I was talking about Felix crest stacking with brogan mastery, since you already have axes as brigand it is quite easy to just train fists and aces as Felix with a side to Authority to completely maximize his damage output.
I don't have anything against assasin Felix he is great but he already comes with easy fists and axe if recruited to a point it isn't easy to make a quick shift into grappler after brigand and destroy everything from that point onward, tomebreaker also fixes his only weakness with mages to boot.
I'm saying that's the problem with BE, actually treat her like the other routes do and develop from that, which would be good and not what BE does.
Byleth isn't a manakete though. Sothis seems to be much more like something on Naga's level, than just your standard dragon as well.
Lys has the earliest accessable warp in the game, you moron.
i got it very fast on linhardt, so she must practically start with it
the thing is will it do enough damage
>be my petra
>swooping in on pegasus to hit everything for 20+ minimum
>get to very last enemy of GD
>hit for 0-2
>7-28 with triangle
>40% chance to lose 90% of HP
vs hilda
>smack enemy for a 4th of his health and able to tank at least 2 of his attacks, but just enough speed to not get doubled up
Im afraid now of falling into relying on speed when what should matter is having enough strength
not to mention
>gets SSS on both magicks and authority comically early
>can 1 almost everything with nosferatu so you can facetank just about anything because lol she just heals it all back up as long as it isnt using a brave equivalent
>gets 10 spells, TWO warp charges, and GD gets access to the caudeceus/gloucester stuff quick
>S means extra range
I dont know how anyone could talk shit about the single most highest damaging unit in the game
This is the most disgusting option I have heard today
Let's put it in perspective.
As said, Holst went 1v1 against nemesis and survived.
But that isn't what's admirable, the battle was lost and he stayed as a distraction for his soldiers to escape.
He fought Nemesis alone and survived while saving those in his command.
No wonder Hilda hates the idea of self sacrifice or is afraid to disappoint after seeing just how much of a noble hero Holst is.
Also this, judging by Hilda and Cyril paralogue his soldiers c as n get bodied by Almyran horsemen and Wyvern Mongol like tactics, it is Holst that is pretty much a one man army to a point Almyrans throw parties because they survived a fight with the Holst.
Man Raphael rarely ever misses strength growths, Dex and speed are his weakness.
After Brigand certification to assasin till mid 30s is more than enough for raph to hit 30% crit and being immune to doubles, if you add killer gauntlets he is literally a punching God.
I'm just impressed by how much of a difference playing assasin Raphael did.
sounds like its more of a problem with people definitively saying BE is hte best while not playing the other routes
If you haven't played BE how would you even know?
Kings are bandits who take being up their own asses to the next level. It's all based on who can kill the most people and their ass-kissing minions.
Lorenz ending implies she lives a reasonably long life, even without curing her.
more like he barely misses hp growths
>spends 50% of my game underlevel
>spent 100% of it 10 HP more than my highest level character
I also wonder how good an archer raphael would be
most of my archer spec archers did fuckall against alot of targets except literally only claude but i put him into brigand early
because knowing what I do about BE and GD the only thing edelgard comes off as is impulsive
lysithea
>fears her impending death
>doesn't murder everyone because lol its not like i have long for this world
Edelgard
>same short lifespan
>WORLD WAR because hurr durr i gotta see things now
>SENSEI YOU MUST KILL ME BECAUSE...?
in GD for instance only hubert acts logically while all the BE and BL jihad themselves
its silly
i think it goes without saying in his case because his A bond more or less elaborates
>don't sweat it we WILL find the way
Lorenz a great character
literally only hate leonie
and literally because every fucking time she breathes and tea times are about
>muh shishou
this doesn't look right
Hubert is the fucking man, nerd.
He looks great after the time skip, and not only that, behind how over the top sleazy and evil he seems, he has really nice supports with some characters. He is great.
I had no idea Lorenz shits on her too
now I like the TRUE GENTLEMAN even more
Someone really should have told Cancer Loli to warp him out.
If only Edelgard had the real Oberstein on her side, nobody would be having this argument. The results would be undeniable no matter how much of a tard she is.
Hubert is the fucking man.
He looks great after the time skip, and not only that, behind how over the top sleazy and evil he seems, he has really nice supports that make him more likable.
>Killed his friend
Sigurd is an acquaintance to Arvis, not a friend. This is shown early on with Arvis looking down on Sigurd in the prologue.
>people unironically thinking betraying the 100% hilariously evil cult makes you evil
There are many things that would make you think edelgard was evil, but this ain’t one.
my bad meant to say that of all the GD's leonie was the only one I hated
on the contrary to lorenz who seems to have nearly as many A-ranks (and consequently character building) as byleth
>she doesn't see why trying is a good thing if you aren't going to be as the ultimate Gigachad Maximus
She has a point, the only value the second rate have is to die to protect the first rate, which is exactly what she ends up doing.
She exists to be the detestable, corrupt villain who is fleshed out as a person but ultimately evil.
compare hanneman's solution for lysithea to edelgard's
both ideally lead to the same result
but one involves a long war that gets alot of people killed
edelgard isn't evil, but hating her for being impulsive and immature by comparison is logical
>finished GD and BL first
>feels bad to go through BE now that you know how wrong her method is
At least the route is short but killing the knights and Dimitri is such a downer.
She exists to be the detestable, corrupt villain who is fleshed out as a person but ultimately evil.
>play GD
>dimitri dies offscreen
>no reward or catharsis for finishing the missions while leaving students alive
god dam rushed fucking shit i tell you hwat
i did it, decided to say fuck it, dug in completely, and lost every single unit except for the essentials, hubert, and ferdinand. double crit on a killing edge won me it
She exists to be the detestable, corrupt villain who is fleshed out as a person but ultimately evil.
Fuck, I got no less than three separate messages saying Yea Forums exploded and the post didn't go through. Sorry guys.
desu i thought Yea Forums went through a different way of posting
posting is just total ass at the moment
>this thread
I can't blame the humans for that first war, nobody wants to be ruled over by aliens.
Mommy is innocent
>GD is my route of choice
That explains things
>for now
Did you even finish it?
So is MByleth or FByleth more canon?
One cannot fuck all lords, and FByleth has BL written around her.
>bluebill
more like blueball
Yes, I meant GD is my favorite route. I've played everything but Church but I haven't finished my BE run yet, I might be tapped out on the game and it doesn't help that I don't believe in the cause this time.
