shut up you are probably a steve nigger

It's called Elite Smash, git gud

I have a job and am not an autistic NEET like you who can grind smash and gacha and eat hot pockets all day ok you little faggot

There's no glory in being a stinky fat nerd that doesn't shower

>Can still get 2-minute item spamfest on Elektroplankton
Nice "Elite" Smash bro.

People didn't like For Glory because it forced you play 2 stocks on Final Destination.
So Ultimate allows you to choose your settings.

>choose your setting
>HAHAHA WRESTERN PIGARU YOU STILL GET IN FEE FO ARLL WITH ITEHMS ON

I must live in an area full of try-hards because I've never had a match with items on save for one guy who had Smash Ball on.
The only variations I get are whether it's battlefield or final destination and two stocks or three.

Only people with low GSP complain about this. Literally git gud.

Why make things convenient and straightforward when you can make utter shit instead?

Typical Nintendo

Quickplay is filled with stinky, fat tryhards who take party games way too seriously. Come join the chads who like their party games with fun stages, items, and gimmicks in Online Tourney mode.

to be quite honest, the For Fun and For Glory system was so much fucking better because I never had to deal with tourneyfaggots since they were all in 4gloryhole

Go to Battle Arena and you’ll see at least 10 For Glory-style rooms.

The changes made to battle formats in general are mind boggling. I understand wanting people to be able to save custom rulesets so they don't have to make it every time, but why force people to make them before they can play? This makes playing online with my friends a chore because every time we decide to do something different we have to leave the room, make/choose/edit a new ruleset, and then make a new room again, when before we could just change the rules right there without having to go anywhere. I'll never understand why they changed this, it was perfectly fine the way it was.

SAKURI IS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR NEVER QUESTION HIM

i liked that alot, but i did maine mega man and duck hunt in 4. i dont know why it cant just do 3 stock on omega/battlefield variants, nobody would object to that

Inconsistent rules aren't the only issue honestly. Getting a character into Elite basically destroys my incentive to use them again. It's not fun being forced to risk dropping them down into Quickplay, just by using them. And if I'm particularly bad with a character, e.g. Ken, using him becomes a complete chore because I lose a bunch and Elite becomes a fairly unrealistic or strenuous goal.
They need to just revamp it so we have both Ranked and Custom Rules modes.

Im a weekend player with full time job ultimate is my first smash i bought smash day one atm have around 100h of playtime half of this was waster on 100% wol and i still got elite with a fucking kirby you have no excuses

That would be perfect. Hell, you could even throw in hazardless versions of some of the more straightforward stages like Pokemon Stadium.

ok kid

Kirby is fucking brain dead dude.

>b-but low tier
Nah

Sakurai is an odd fellow. He made the GSP system so casual players wouldn't feel intimidated by a ranked ladder, but GSP is, if anything, even more demotivating.

>gsp tied to skill
>t.probably ness main or 2 stock 3:00 yink shitter

ness feels like complete ass in ultimate, not at all the free win machine he was in 4

True. Now you have to focus some mind energy into pkfire>literally hold forward for free fair combo

you can get elite in like 3 wins in a row
