>Seen any Elves? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
I don't get it. Why do nords have such a retarded sense of humor?

Because nords are retarded
Gee user. Maybe take a look at where the fuck you are in Tamriel.
have you ever been to northern Europe? it's quite interesting, no one is ever funny there, except maybe finns but it's an aquired taste kind of humor.
You like to dance close to the fire, don't you?
Because they literally have the lowest intelligence stat possible among playable races.
I'm in morrowind, specifically Vvanderfell, a province primarily populated by dunmers. Will his next question be if the climate is ashy today?
But that was funny.
The joke is that elves are everywhere.
It's a fucking shitty joke, don't @ me you retarded nord with not even 10 speechcraft and a personality attribute on par with a blighted rat.
The journal entries for that quest were uncharacteristically based.
Seen any Elves? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
I didn't say it was a sophisticated joke.
For game design reasons everything is voice acted in english, which causes the classic Nord joke to lose its context.
TL note: The Nordic word for "seen" is "ung-et" (lit: eye-before) and the Nordic word for "Elf" is "teg" (lit: feces). "Elves" would be "teg-nu" (lit: feces-more) so the full joke typically goes "¿Ung-et nan teg-nu? AFF-AFF-AFF-AFF-AFF (laughter)". This is very funny to most Nords because "ung-et" is spoken like "teg-nu" backwards, and the question as a whole would be a perfect palindrome if not for the hyphens breaking its symmetry.
Nords are not renowned for their intelligence.
If I said "seen any niggers" while in Africa I'd probably laugh too
fucking nords
You should've picked an easier opponent.

Why were female dunmer battle lines so memorable?
Man, I wish there were that level of detail applied to the fictional languages in TES. For all some folk like to suck its dick about the deepest lore, language is really underutilized.
It sounds like a grandpa joke, I like it
>emulating xbox Morrowind on PC
wut
because they sound like my aunt catching me stealing from the candy box
There is an Xbox emulator that can launch morrowind not sure if it can play it to completion. Google it, the emulator is still an ongoing project
>Now you die!
Your aunt was hardcore.
I wish they used languages more in general even if they didn't put in the effort to fully flesh them out. It can do so much for setting the atmosphere and making the races feel more distinct. The spoken Ta'agra and Yokudan in parts of Redguard were used well to that effect even though they only made up as much vocabulary as was needed.

Are they the true niggers of Tamriel?
God i hated that voice actor
Not him but mine murdered her cat for wearing her skirt.
That reminds me of Huttese in Star Wars (but cat). It is nice for world building and the like. I've not played it, but from what I've gathered, Redguard's lore parts were top-notch (just not the game itself).
I think user's question was more intended to be, "Why would you bother emulating the Xbox version when you could just play the PC version?"
