You're ruining the experience that the devs intended. You're missing out on the sheer acting talent, expression, vocal range, emotive capacity, and passion that the Japanese seiyuu are capable of putting into their art. You're missing out on all the Japanese verbal tics and idiosyncrasies and cadence that's unique to the language and would sound unnatural in English.

I don't think you realize just how big all those names are. Atlus got an absolute star studded cast of seiyuu, giants of the anime industry.
You basically replaced actors who are masters of their craft with bottom of the barrel D-list cartoon voice actors. Good Western voice actors go work for Disney, you get all the shit leftovers. The worst part is you don't even realize it because your ears are too attuned to listening to crap.

I personally don't understand barely any Japanese. I feel like I can connect with something that I understand more. When I actually hear the English dub, I can understand how they phrase things, the tone in their voice, stuff like that. If I listen to Japanese, it's a bunch of garbled nonsense to me, with a lot of the little amazing nuances completely unbeknownst to me. If I understood it, then I'd probably listen to the jab dub instead.
