It was just a prack bros and broetts!!!
It was just a prack bros and broetts!!!
Rami a cute
It was just a misguided prank. He was still traumatized from losing his sisters the year before and this was his way of dealing with it
I very much enjoyed watching someone else play this game desu
Josh unironically did nothing wrong. He didn't deserve his fate.
>thought their writing in Until Dawn was tongue in cheek cheesy to emulate a teen horror movie
>it fit really well and even got pretty video gamey at times, especially in micheal’s story
>watch their new movie
>turns out they are just really shit at writing and all the “good” writing in the first game was a fluke
>they definitely weren’t self aware with their cheesy writing
It’s weird how much of a step down the new game took. Not one of the characters are likable, all of them are awful actors, the scares are cheesy, they didn’t learn a thing about design after the wendigo criticism.
It’s all pretty disappointing.
>the one girl who was the most irredeemable and vile character is the rarest to get killed
Seriously, fuck emily
She will actually push another girl in the climax and leave under certain conditions. Fucking bitch.
is it that bad
Who and what are you talking about?
>Villain of the game is the deranged incel rich boy who can't let go of the past
>Most brave and selfless protagonist is the Chad Thudercock
What did Supermassive mean by this?
Imagine the same writing but with an incredibly bland cast. You don't hate them enough to see them die in horrific ways nor like them enough to try to get them to survive. You just don't care about them and now you get to decide their fate.
Just dropping redpills, seeing as that's how it is in real life too
>his """""friends""""" cruelly humiliate his sister which inadvertently leads to both of his sisters dying
>they don't really give a fuck
>they deny any responsibility because "it was just a prank bro"
>they don't give a fuck about his mental breakdown either
>yet they're all eager to go back for the yearly retreat and mooch off him again
>he gives them a taste of their own medicine with some cruel pranks
>never actually hurt anyone though
>somehow gets blamed when actual monsters show up despite having nothing to do with them
>game shits on him no matter what you do and he can't be saved
Yup, it has the same gameplay but instead of being a sort of nod to teen slasher flicks with some over the top vidya action here and there, it plays out more like a 2005 horror movie where for every neat thing that gives it a step forward, there two bad things that keep it back.
Love the fixed cinematic camera though and would love to see something like it used in a REmake style survival horror game.
Worst thing is that it built his character up like something interesting was going to revolve around his hallucinations, but in the end he just becomes a wendigo. He was a really interesting character but like all the rest they sort of dropped the ball on what they wanted to do with him.
tragic villain
First sentence wrong. Second sentence right.
It was more than a prank, it was his means of getting revenge because he felt like they were all responsible for his sister's death.
Literally the best kind of gf for your average Yea Forums user.
this "game" was great, I hate how underrated it is here and everywhere else
But that's Ashley you're describing
After that girl sells her out letting Mike think she's infected by a bite when she knows that's not how the creatures are created (ie: if Ashley reads the hunter's book and opts not to tell Mike that bites are not how the curse is transmitted).
How does David Cage deal with the fact that this game came out of nowhere to upstage him and his many years of experience making movie games?
Whoops
Cute butt
My favorite line in the whole game is when they are debating to kill Emily because of her bite and mike says “But EM this is the SAFE room” just the way he says it makes me laugh. Mike was the fucking man.
The butts were top notch in this game
