For a time, localized Monster Hunter games prevented you from outright killing a small deer-like creatures called Kelbi while they can still die normally from being eaten by a large monster. It instead just gets concussed and you can still carve for its pelt or liver, but it'll run off after you're done. Since you actually have to use a blunt weapon to knock them out properly in order to carve off the horns in either version, it's a bit confusing since the KO stars were used for both states in the international releases until one game gave the 'death' knockdown red stars over the head. It's a bit funny considering in that a just as innocent fauna like it was introduced in the Moofah, they could be slain normally while you keep a younger pet version in a player house.

This was pretty much around for as long as the games were on Nintendo consoles, since you can properly slay them in MHW while the horns just break off as a shiny drop. On the other hand, MHW removed blood effects entirely. Blood effects in general also used to be lowered compared to their JP counterparts, even predating pre-Nintendo MH games.

If they localise the game accurately they will be torn apart by sjws and possibly even the mass media on both sides.

You play as a terrorist in GTA and kill innocent people for fun (extra credit you didn't want this you didn't ask for this yadda yadda). I think a rape scene that isn't controlled by the player, and is done tastefully for the story shouldn't be too bad.
