Why is Terraria world gen such ass? I can't find a single world that has nice flat, even land with normal oceans. It's almoat ALWAYS lopsided with pits that go way too into the ground. Is there a mod to fix this?

You unlock the moon biome after killing the Moon Lord on Master Mode. Entirely new world, always 1/4th the size of your world. 8 entirely new ores, 7 new biomes, 50 new enemies, 3 new (moon specific) bosses, and every enemy has a reflect that insta-kills people using projectiles like that one Solar Pillar enemy.

Though that's just my wishful thinking. When I first saw the 1.3 trailer, I was convinced that the Marble biome was an underground biome one the moon, and I was super excited. Imagine how cool it would be to explore a completely new world, even if it had only 1/1,000th the content currently in Terraria. That's still an entire planet with more content than Minecraft.

I had exactly this on my last world. There was like a 70 block tall wall of "beach" stopping the ocean from spilling over. I ended up breaking it just to see what would happen, and the world flooded and it was pretty cool seeing sharks spawn in the desert

I dont do large worlds until i get a character to hard mode because traversing and building in a hard world is fucking dog shit early game.

alright so I just thought of a cool gamemode that I will never be able to realistically make because it's hard and terraria never works well in multiplayer.
>two sides on left and right sides of map
>each has a large base
>around 20 or so soldiers on each side
>teams can vary from just red vs blue to corruption vs hallow or crimson vs corruption
>one side gets the jungle, one side gets the dungeon
>it's a race to destroy the other team
>each team has a basic soldier getup and some elite armour
>all done post hardmode
>soldiers get basic gear like cobalt shit and whatever they have materials to make
>teams can send groups to attack each other or get resources
>first one to completely destroy the other base wins

>there are only two sword shrines, one will drop true Excalibur and full hallowed armour, the other will drop true nights edge and full hallowed armour.

in hardmode it slowly converts it to corruption meaning that anything you need in the jungle is now impossible to get, it also converts mud into dirt to prevent the jungle from regening

it takes a while for corruption to fuck over the jungle tho
