I finally got around to playing GTA V and man, was I disappointed.

>vehicle control is worse than even in 4
>you can tell the game was made for consoles because of the retarded keyboard default settings
>all 3 of the main characters are extremely boring and uninteresting
>only 2 types of missions in the game: the repetitive one where you do 1 action 30 times in a row while trying not to fall asleep, and the one where you have to play whack a mole with the cover system while waves of enemies just flow towards you with 0 challenge

Also, the game abandoned any sense of even basic logic that previous games had and went into full arcade mode. Even its political commentary is a miss and comes off as genuinely cringey.
Like the time when Trevor, a character that was established as a psycho that doesn't care about some random retards getting all serious and apologetic over the Mexican that got tazed and proceeds to murder the 2 goofy anti-illegal immigration dudes.

Seriously, where the fuck did it all go so wrong? And why does the game have such a high rating?

I hate how OP the cops are. They'll shoot you in the head through your back window in your car from 50 feet away while airborn. The cops in GTA 4 were too stupid, and now GTA 5 has terminators in police uniforms.
