Is not gambling if it uses ingame currency.
Maybe so but it is still there to try and attract gambling addicts to the game and try to turn existing players into addicts so they are more likely to buy the lootboxs
It's not fucking fair that NBA can have this shit but pokemon can't have their harmless slot machines
LOW
So if a casino trades my money for casino coins it's no longer gambling? Interesting
only if the game has absolutely no microtransations
only if the game has absolutely no microtransactions
b-b-b-b-but in games you can't change your coins back into currency so is OK.
apparently it doesn't count if you can't trade those coins back into real money.
Gambling bans aren't there to stop people spending real money, dumbass.
>trade cash in at casino for casino chips
>use chips to play the games
>this is now not gambling
You need real money to get the chips. You dont need real money to earn the ingame currency, big difference
Works in Japan sadly.
THIS IS A FUCKING VIDEO
Time equals money
Checkmate
Hasn't GTA online been banning people for winning too much virtual money since there's people macroing to get money and Rockstar didn't know how to fix except "just ban everyone who gets too much money lol"
you need to get something back for it to be considered gambling
since you don't own your account, it is merely being lent to you by the company, you aren't getting anything back
you're just giving them money to maybe unlock things on their own accounts
at least that's the loophole japanese gacha games used in 2012
TIER
Yes, they are.
It's actually pretty silly that they wanted to add a casino but didn't want the consequences that came with it.
Stick to SP you fucking scot cunts
False af theres tons of shitting games where you can only get that via irl money
>inb4 its optional
So is entering a casino
It can. It would just raise the age rating to 12 in the EU (or Germany to be specific).
>company can get money from you
>you can't get money from company even if you win
>this is somehow not a real gambling
what
What's wrong with gambling?
what's with that man's proportions?
How can you macro win in something random?
How can you macro win in something random?
Horse racing, odds change when you leave the chair and go back in. So people been macroing to do that and bet on a certain horse to win lots of money. People have also been doing this and then buying cars and items with certain increments of money to basically launder and structure their funds. Due to the nature of the game I kinda find it funny people are breaking "the law" (ToS) to profit.
YOOOOOONG OUT
>Add in gacha for a yearly sports game that has tons of whales
>Pulls don't carry over in-between games
>Service ends for the previous game in two years
interesting you say thay, the game center was removed from pokemon because iirc it was resulting in pg ratings.
They could easily put expirations on the stuff you buy, so even if you do get a good pull you automatically lose it after a while.
The game is rated PEGI 3 in Europe and E for Everyone by ESRB in America.

Video game ratings boards are becoming complicit in gambling mechanics in games and are not serving their purpose.
interesting you say thay, the game center was removed from pokemon because iirc it was resulting in pg ratings.are the older games even active/online anymore?
The ESRB E and Pegi 3 ratings.
