I like its simplicity but some of the me mechanics, controls and the lack of simple features (like having close to zero map) make it a little too archaic.

III is kinda ass tho, it was only cool back in the day because of the new technology (and i mean, it kinda still is) and that's it.

Honestly, i just replayed the game recently after all these years and if it wasn't for my personal mp3 playlist...all stuff from 2000~2002, i really did it because of nostalgia, it just worked because of that.
Claude is like a fucking npc and game hasn't aged that good to me.

Yeah i think that's nice, i'm actually replaying all the ps2 era just because of mods that bring back a lot of stuff from the original version, i wanted a new experience (more like an excuse to play these games again lol) since i never played them this way because i didn't own a ps2 i never had one, i still have the old retail copies on pc and these mods are fucking tasteful.

If they're based, they'd set next gta in the early 2000s with a lot of stuff/music from around that time, play it on nostalgia, make a good game and you're gonna sell well.

Nah, the missions are a downgrade from 3. 3 kept the gimmicky shit as side content, VC that shit is the main story.

soul = good art direction
soulless = good graphics but dull art direction
good art direction > good graphics

Most people who use soul use it for things they like and soulless for things they don't like, always assume they're full of shit if they say something has soul or is soulless without explaining why or how.
