Yakuza 5 also had a prison segment which was cool, even though it was reeeaaally short.
It's the perfect setting for a game desu. Lots of strong, crazy personalities, lots of combat, crazy stories, survival elements and a lot of crafting.

I was thinking this too. Imagine an RPG but set in multiple prisons. you level up your stats str/dex/cha etc, gangs are like guilds, you choose weapons specialisation (fists, shivs etc) and you work your way up the ranks.
