I'm saying that it's a feature present in real rhythm games which is "mysteriously" absent in gacha rhythm games. As we all know why it's absent: so they can sell you the healing ability as a gacha character you need to roll for.

Yes, it's viable to 100% perfect every song and not be concerned about the missing feature. But for your average person, it is going to be relevant and it is going to be a huge difference between BanG Dream and any actual rhythm game.

There is no such thing as a good gacha. The only one somewhat passable i can think of would be TABA (Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena, on English at Nutaku) because what you get, a porn scene per character card, has value on itself, unlike non-porn gachas where the cards' value greatly depends on the existence of fan art based off them made by third parties.

Azur Lane has really generous gacha rates compared to most games. If you play for 12 months, you *might* miss like 2% of all the event ships. In the 9 months I played, I only missed a single one out of 80 or so. Most importantly, I didn't spend a dime.

I'm playing MU Origins 2 for more than a week and I'm really hooked. It's just pissing me off that everybody is way overpowered for my level and they dominate most of the event, leaving me mostly with nothing at the end of the day because I'm not part of the cool kid's Bloc who has VIP passes.

The only roulette part is gambling for decent equipment for 1800 diamonds, the best equipments I get are not for my class, but what's more fucked up is that I can't even sell these equipment because rare items are bound only to me.

Personally I think there is nothing wrong with gacha as long as you have the patience to wait for better roll. Most people, me included, hates losing and wants everything done faster so we pay a lot of money just to win.

I actually found it to be the opposite. Putting some money into the game made me realize what a waste it was and expected more out of it. I expected the game to continue being entertaining, and was quite disappointed when it just got duller and duller. I'm certainly less inclined to spend now that I was several years ago. Every time I consider a starter pack or a guaranteed 5* whatever, I look back and see how worthless it was in those other games and how useless that expense is to me now, and I'm even less inclined to spend.

I didn't get anything but a pity Tsukuyo from the free rolls, but I had really good luck toward the beginning of the game, I pulled 2 Madokas, 1 Mami and Kyouko.

I also got 2 Rens during her event which meant I could get her destiny gem for a 3rd slot, which made me really happy since Ren is my favorite magireco girl. She hits like a dump truck too

Personally Azur Lane, a little grindy but really generous in the gacha mechanic. most of the paid stuff are skins, and Bang Dream, even without using the gacha the events give you really good cards and the 2 little details makes me come back again and again in this game in particular: playing online allow you to play the song to the end, so even if you are awful you can practice harder maps without the fear of that pause screen asking for cash to recover life, and you can keep playing even without the resource that acts as "stamina", you don't get as much rewards beating this way but again they give you a way to practice without having to spend like other rhythm games I tried before

Easy until you hit the later chapters, when you start having to optimize multiple echelons. Majority of the game is going to be team building, actually doing micromanaging in combat is going to be minor for a good while.
Getting new units is either as drops from battle, rolled using regular resources, or from events. Premium currency is for stuff like being able to have more echelons/dorms/character or equipment slots mostly. Costumes and dorm decor are from the gacha that you can spend premium currency for rolls on, or you can just get the stuff to roll from doing dailies.
General gameplay is going to be planning and figuring out how to S-Rank maps so you can get free premium currency. Events come slowly, as does new content, so you end up spending a lot of time grinding in the meanwhile.
Story is pure suffering.

If you mean which gacha games have meaningful gameplay, then Granblue has deep JRPG gameplay and is relatively jrpg friendly (and in terms of characters they pander to literally everyone)

If you mean games where the girls are more cute than sexy, then you have stuff like Bandori or Magia Record (though this mostly requires you to be a Madoka fan)

You would have been able to get Dana, Alma, and Dorothy at least. You only need to make it to the third stage of the collab to be able to get the super easy 60 fragments a day by hitting end turn twice, and you could possibly get Sei if you got really lucky. But yeah, getting Jill and Stella actually required you to have good squads ready. But I wasn't really surprised by that since the Guilty Gear/Blazblue collab was the same way.

It's extra cruel with the Valhalla collab since Jill is actually one of the best handguns in the game. Missing out on the GG/BB collab isn't nearly as bad since neither Elephelt or Noel are particularly good. Honestly, the collab's difficulty could have been handled a lot better. The regular stages should have been more doable for newer players, they could have left the assrape of the EX stages as is.

i like girls frontline because i can by as a f2p. people mainly complain about the costume gacha compared to azur lane since buying them is cheaper to my knowledge but as a f2p i don't give a fuck since i'm not spending any money. i get the free event skins and can save tokens to get a select few skins i like. i'm up to 25 skins without paying a cent. i also like for anniversary they give you a free 5* pick because some gachas are pretty shitty with their anniversary giving only stuff that benefits paying players.

They unironically are, the cores will be used up quickly on just a few dolls. Combat reports give jack shit in terms of exp unless used in large ammounts but you for some reason have fucking over 4k of them so that might be enough to get a few girls to lvl 100. You got only 2 pieces of 5* equipment so have "fun" grinding more in shitty night battles. Dunno why the fuck you have this many things but you'll eat through those quickly in the span of 2 echelons

also forgot to add, there's exchange tickets so it's the same principle of getting fewer costumes if you decide to save for the guaranteed amount instead of rolling to get lucky.

Yeah, the key is to save your cubes. You shouldn't be hurting for cubes unless there's an event. Daily you get 6 cubes + Comms. Weeklies you get ton of cubes.

Also gems can be gotten via doing 3* clears on certain maps. Combine that with the apologems YoStar hands out every so often, you can buy your dorm slots rather easily.

Meanwhile AL, since thats what we were comparing to anyway, save for few skins, has all of them permanently avalaible(and some are "free" with just marrying the girl unlike gfl), so you get a collab character skin for gems, and sometime down the line get the skin for desired boat. I know the skins in GF are still avalaible and not removed, but this system is a fucking bait, you cant expect to get dupes of skins when theres close to 100 avalaible, and the best skins are 8 tickets each.
As for buying slots, man I sure do like waiting weeks to skill up my dolls since I can only do 2 at a time and cant use them when training!

The only good answer. Tried so many gachas, and most of them aren't fun enough to bother playing yourself, instead leaving everything on autopilot. But Destiny Child has a really fun element of team composition, and experimenting around with units to see what's effective and wgat isn't is genuinely enjoyable, if you're into that.
Also, play the korean version. Global/JP is just plain worse, and Korean keeps handing out shit like candy, while also being seriously generous with farming and pull rates alike.

Weird decision to me cuz lets be real the game wasnt that popular so not many players will bother getting the harder characters.

FGO is by far the biggest one, so just play that. It's the Starcraft of mobage. If you can handle FGO, you can handle any gacha game.

I don't understand why people claim Dokkan is heavy p2w, sure if u wanna rainbow everything u gotta pay, but u can have a great collection for free and do all the events rather easily soon enough, maybe it's because i got into the game early that i feel this way? But i got some friends info the game recently and most of them have decent teams already, so what gives?

Also could any of you give some gacha games suggestions too? From trying a lot heres what i learnt about my tastes:

Like:
-Games that i can stop at anytime with none or tiny consequences
-Short gameplay loops, cant invest 15-20-25 minutes into a stage most of the time
-Lewd art
-Live 2d
-enough free stuff ( 5days between free gacha minimum+ lots of free high amount surprises)

Dislike:
- heavy p2w
- gacha for "pieces" of character
- same banner can drop cards or gear
- landscape mode
-fast paced action (can't give undivided attention to phone so turns or auto stuff is better)
-too much focus on gear
-Over complexity

Basically i wanna play absent minded, without compromise, while still having fun

Dokkan
Destiny child (stopped since cellphone broke but had lots of fun, maybe too demanding on daily long logins)

Liked:

Feh ( would be a favorite, but every fight takes too long and events come out too often for a few days, impossible to keep up of u have a tight schedule

Hated:
7 knight? Dont usually memorize name out the ones i hated, but yeah, the one, active, long, pieces for gacha

You can try azur lane, auto battles take a 1 or 2, so you can grind while doing something else. They make money mostly on skins. If you don't want to grind, you can finish dailies in 20 minutes

Nah, you can get messed up by basic enemies if you don't dodge, provided you aren't hideously overleveled for them. The higher end bosses are a bit brutal though.

But maybe i should give another shot, since the last 2 problems can be fixed by just playing, sure get annoyed at the whole p2lewd though, also landscape, but oh well, well give it time to warm up to me

It's still got players playing it, new update now allows auto-battle in multiplayer, an update a while ago made Wyrmprints purchasable from shops now instead of it being pulled from summons, leaving more chances for dragons and Heroes which was a pretty good change.
