wow it looks like a video game

Can they make it so the second half is good?

Why?

>remake looks worse than the original
not this shit again

It was already true for the Crysis sequels which they downgraded the engine for so they could sell them on consoles

Just a tech demo. But... my body is ready.

Though, just from a glance it's already apparent that they're not pushing the envelope the same way they did with Cryengine 1. They're clearly holding back to accomodate consoles... again.

Still it will be fun to play around with a new engine. Especially is the INCLUDE PROPER DOCUMENTATION SOMEWHERE THIS TIME

Crysis still looks better

One of the most boring games in all of creation.

Holy fuck they need to remake Crysis 1

POWERSTRUGGLE ALL DAY BABY

OP is baiting. It's just an island scene and has nothing to do with Crysis.

WIll it take 5 years to have a decent fps again?

fuck the poorfags. 2080 ti bros rise the FUCK up.

we're going home

Crysis never looked good lol

And the graphics still look worse than crysis 3

came here to post this.
shit looks like a 2008 PS3 game.

Crysis still look amazing to this day

>uses the crysis 1 music
>uses the nanosuit voice
>uses the tower from Recovery
>"it's unrelated to crysis"

That was not the nanosuit voice.

At this point though Crytek is probably only doing it because they're close to being bankrupt.

Crytek is still alive?

Is it really a remake if it's just being ported to their new engine? Is the original Crysis even playable on modern systems? I heard it runs just as bad as it did on rigs from 2007.

The video goes across various environments based off of games that use the cryengine. One of them is a temple looking area that looks similar to an asian MMO that was one of the first games to use DX12.

wow i am so mad that i cant post

>Look we have ropes, and, hmm, the grass moves, isn't that revolutionary ?
CryEngine look amazing, shame the engine don't have documentation.

it'll hold up worse than the original

I'd buy it for sure, this game got me into pee sea gaming back when I was a kid
