I'm not sure, Started with saving images of imageboards, once I had 50k I started pirating movies/anime in a small scale, then I just found I really like collecting(hoarding) digitally.
I want to build the perfect library, even If I die while only experiencing one tenth of it. Already have three 12 tbs full.

Yea it's a good concern, I've only had an ssd fail on me and i'm running some 10+ year old drives for holding steam games. Going to buy a good amount on black friday and create a little vault for backups. I also like sorting them all for some reason, some of my fastest comfiest days have been sorting loose images and listening to my music collection.
