The story is way shorter and more compact. The gameplay is a massive improvement over the original, although there isn't a ton of content.

Fate on its own doesn't really have anything against it that would permanently bar it from being added except maybe not being high on the priority list.
However, I doubt Nero herself would get in mainly because she's a pastiche of a historical figure (one way or the other) AND not the protagonist. What could be possible is for her to be a composite character with Arturia as "Saber", but I think Arturia alone (with Alter costume) is more probable because the two actually have very different models.

I think the premise of a battle royale between famous ancient heroes/myths is a really cool idea.
It always had issues and flaws, but the gachashit was the final nail in the coffin for me.
Some good porn though, but that's pretty much required for all gacha garbage.
