Not good. Being in my 30s I'm very aware of all the things I have not accomplished yet, and all the time I wasted in my 20s. I mean, physically I feel relatively the same. Not much has changed besides some hair loss, but on an emotional/spiritual level I've changed. I feel like nowadays I want to waste less time and I have fewer years than previously believed.

Enjoying new Fire Emblem and finishing up some monhun quests before Iceborne.
Work fucking sucks and i've never found a job I enjoy. I was on track to have my work situation improve with good attendance, and things were going well. Then my Cat became incredibly sick all at once. She developed a breathing problem a few days ago, couldnt eat or sleep. When the vet ran tests they found a large solid mass between her heart and lung that was pushing on her trachea, and her lungs were surrounded by unknown fluid.

Anyway, a couple full days of me and my girlfriend crying later, we took her in again with the intention of draining the fluid so she could breathe, but I let the stupid vet talk us into putting her down instead. Now shes fucking gone and my gaming buddy will never be able to sit here next to me again. Her food and treats that were just for her will sit here unused. I'm still really sad about it, but at least ive been able to function a little better today. I need to go into work tomorrow or else ill likely be fired.

Got 'tennis elbow' from playing too much Hitman 2. Apparently keeping your armed tensed on-and-off up for months on end (for precise aiming) strains that muscle. So I can't play 'intense' games for a while. Playing Jurassic Park Evolution from my backlog. Almost 100% complete. Just got 3 more parks to complete on Jurassic difficulty. After that, dunno. Probably either Sims 4 or Fallout 4. Been feeling that itch for a while now.

I've been playing Diablo II (I play a new character every summer, currently running an Avenger Paladin). On the last week before school starts I've been playing Lego City Undercover co-op with my son - the game is surprisingly fun. Beat Ion Fury - it was good but I'm not sure I'll ever replay it.

I'm waiting for BL3 and I'll probably pick up FFVIII remastered since it saves me from having to hook up the PSX. I'll give River City Girls a shot, but I'm not expecting it to be better than Fight n' Rage.

Work is busy as usual - next week is our busiest of the year so I'm just finishing a month of preparation for it. Lots of projects on the go and as September goes on I'll shift into a heavy software testing phase as I do each fall.

New GF is good. Really good. Ex-wife is the usual (she has her ups and downs). Son is super excited for school and has been talking about it non-stop for weeks.

I draw, paint and play MTG. My new condo doesn't have a front lawn (I miss using my reel-mower to take care of my old lawn). Not having to deal with the dandelions this year was nice, though.
