I think I like the game overall but I do hate the stealth sections.

There's only one more stealth section in the game unless you count the DLC

don't really know what the purpose would be of ageing them down anyways? the Outbreak games were already taking place in 98 during RE2+3 so i'm not sure what would be gained by changing the look of the characters for no real other reason.

The original RE2 is easier because you can get handgun ammo out the ass and even the shotgun/crossbow before you even reach the police station, lickers are less powerful and slower (they can even be stunlocked by the submachine gun), zombies are a joke, Leon’s already great magnum and shotgun are OP as hell once they’re upgraded, and Mr. X actually drops ammo if you defeat him in each encounter unlike in the remake. Why did they only release DMC1 and not the HD collection? It feels like they didn't want to actually support Nintendo with this decision. And it's to be expected that you don't have gyro aim, DMC1 and old RE games had a fixed camera, DD and non-fixed camera RE don't have an excuse other than being lazy ports. The only extra benefit here is that it's portable.

It looks like they are in some area of the lab from RE2make, which was where Below Freezing Point took place in Outbreak.
In BFP, the "canon" characters for that scenario are Yoko, George, and Alyssa. If Yoko isn't chosen as the player character, she is scripted to die and revive as a zombie.
Outbreak also has a special AI system where certain characters like/dislike others. They're more like to give (or not give) items to characters they like (or dislike). Alyssa and George are good partners, George doesn't like Yoko.

Ok my first RE7 playthrough I was on PC and I did almost the entire game with the knife because the moulded were balanced around a controller and quickturn whereas on PC I could swipe and run away instantly before they could attack just by using the mouse and keyboard by the end of the game (when it didn't matter) I had so much stuff. My box was stuffed with health and ammo. It took forever and was still really difficult when fighting 3+ in the basement but it was possible thanks to the freedom of movement offered by m+kb.
