3 is more arcadey than rally. Showdown is trash. Grab wreckfest if you want demolition derby.

not that user but I play with a controller, i'm sure wheel is a little better and easier but controller is perfectly doable (just google the right settings for deadzones). I can do a full race in sweden with a lancia stratos and actually make it through, pretty much the worst of the worst for handling.

I tried Project Cars 2 earlier this year but it was too hard to play with a controller

I have played both, project cars 2 is way more simulation and much harder with a controller, but it's still playable, you just have to get good, dirt is easier.

groub b peugeot is forever worst for handling, you can stop lancia but the peugeot just bounces around like retarded torpedo

I had no idea about rally before I played this game so I stupidly started with Group B cars with manual transmission and most of the assists off.

037 in Sweden is even more insufferable though. At least the Stratos is tiny and agile enough to get out of most trouble really easily, the 037 is a bit more stable but makes up for it with its size and power to get you into much worse trouble much faster.
