Indies and smaller devs are now able to make huge games instead of only 2D platformers
You get more for $60 than you ever did before, despite microtransactions being shitty, tons of games with them get massive amounts of free content
EGS doesn't affect anyone who buys the games a year or so later anyways
We're finally seeing major improvements in graphics with RTX and cards that can reliably handle 4K
There's actual competition in PC components now
Game pass is cheap and gives you a bunch of games and if you don't want it you don't need to touch it
Things aren't perfect, fuck game streaming, fuck paid online, fuck releasing a game 5 days early with the ultimate edition, that doesn't change that games are still very enjoyable
