I don't really know since I haven't finished playing it yet. I only started on it a couple days ago and so far it's been really absorbing though, so I hope they keep the feel of exploration.
Make Spears better I guess, I've always loved Spear-type weapons but they only seem to have niche uses in this over the stronger two-handed swords.
