That's basically most of the game. The game relies in guilt tripping so much and instead of just making you suffer for the consequences of your choice, it judges you in morality in the way. It needs to do that because when you get to fight characters, they are just one dimensional, you barely know them that well, so since you can't feel bad for personal attachment, it needs guilt trip to work.

Nothing really because the game now lacks the option of choosing since monsters run away from you. It's a bit early to talk about themes and assume they are going for the same route as undertale. Most of my complaint is directed towards characters and some more like humor which I found worse than the first game.

Man, I really feel sorry for the people who went into the game after it because super popular and expected some masterpiece. Yes the characters only really show one or two emotions, but its fine because they get very little screen time in general, its not about them. It's just a short game that when played earnestly, tugs heavily at your emotions.

I went into it when it launched because a furry friend insisted me to.I just found it too cheesy and the concept could be a bit flawed at times, in overall just "ok", like 7/10. As much as the writing wasnt that great, it had some fun fights and moments. I guess that the hype after it, really ruined it for some people.

Far Cry these days loves to fuck with the player/get them on the villain's side, but Seed was a swing and a miss, much like The Jackal. Feels like the writers were trying to appeal to the player's dislike of certain modern-day political figures/events to achieve this sympathy, when they did it quite nicely in 4 just by making Pagan Min the Least Shitty Option who acted reasonably towards the player. I don't have too much hatred for the big guy in the round office, so it didn't have much effect on me, but it made everything feel slightly more disingenuous as it was a rather transparent attempt at manipulating the player.

This is the gripe I have as well. It would've been really cool if the game gave you an option not to do it, but didn't outright say you had the choice. Like, the game would still insist that you MUST do it that way, but if you take some time you can choose on your own without being prompted to find another way. Then it would've been meaningful, and the aesop of "don't just go around killing people because you're told to without giving it any more thought" would've made more sense.
