yeah no shit. they had nothing to do with the actual game, why is it so hard to just review the fucking game instead of seething about politics surrounding it?

If you mouse over the asterisk it will literally say it chose not to show you these reviews based on your preferences. If you want to see the reviews, turn them on.

What do you mean it was all for nothing? They uncensored the game

Truth is the game was rigged from the start

>female protagonist
thats a yikes from me dog

Can they really delete any negative review? How come not all game developers do that? That way everyone would have 100% positive reviews.

>Censored reviews
>Reviews number increases
Anyone falling ops bait is retarded

read
Steam has a bot that can autodetect review bombing (so-called off topic reviews) and exclude them from the aggregate, depending on your preferences.
Nothing's getting deleted

Almost like coordinated campaigns get pruned

The developer doesnt. They probably put a ticket in to Valve and Valve checks the reviews for manipulation. Did they just remove the negative reviews? Or did they nuke everything from the past week or so?

They're leaving the skub bottle in the game and the SJW's are seething, so even if the reviews are filtered I wouldn't say it was all for nothing

They don't delete them, instead they make it so that said reviews don't count toward the score everyone sees. Effectively the same as deletion, but doesn't invite cries of censorship nearly as badly.

>NEGATIVE REVIEWS BAD
>POSITIVE REVIEWS GOOD
they allow review bombs if they're positive lmao

They never censored the game to begin with, bitchtits.

Retardera isn't handling their loss very well, eh

It's always funny to watch them scream about it in various threads

Charge your fucking phone, you piece of shit.

Sir, you are fake news
please get a job at Kotaku

>all reviews within the period of off topic review activity don't count towards the aggregate
>hurr durr they allow positive review bombs!
Did your mom smoke meth, or do you come across this level of retardation honestly?

They also close all negative threads on the forum.

it's only considered off topic if it's significantly negative you fucking dicklicker if it's fully positive they let it stay RETARD

>source: dude, trust me

can you fucking read you stupid little shit? are you fucking mentally deficient you little asslicking monkey?

>A few weeks ago, in response to the Notre Dame tragedy, Ubisoft did something great for their fans by making Assassin's Creed: Unity available for free on Uplay, and committing funds towards rebuilding the monument. This led to a significant spike in players of AC: Unity on Steam, and a large number of positive reviews for the game. This led us, and members of the community, to wonder if this was finally a positive review bomb, and whether it should be considered off-topic.

>Data-wise, it doesn't quite fit the pattern of negative review bombs: in the case of AC:Unity there was a significant increase in actual players alongside the increase in reviews. That isn't necessarily the case with a typical off-topic review bomb (but, to be clear, we have seen some negative review bombs with that characteristic).

>So, we're not really sure what to do here. It doesn't actually seem to be a review bomb in the way we've previously defined them, but maybe that's just our definition being wrong. But even if we define it as one, we're not sure whether it should be off-topic or not. The overall Review Score would decrease by 1.3% if we marked it, which wouldn't have any significant effect on its visibility in the store (see the FAQ below for more on that). So either way, the game itself wouldn't be affected by our decision.

>So it's not clear it's a review bomb. It certainly doesn't fit our original definition in the "aimed at lowering the Review Score" section, but back in 2017 the community's terminology around "review bombs" was also focused only on concerted negative efforts. It'd be nice to change that terminology to something that doesn't imply positive or negative, but that's really up to the community.
LOL

It's not automatic. Devs need to request it.

You only see that if you change your settings you massive fucking bitch
Disable it then retard

>change something in-game
>people review bomb you for said change
>Censor said review bomb
>"it had nothing to do with the game"

>3DR tries to censor
>Come on guys, it's just a tiny texture on a shampoo bottle, why are you even mad it's being removed
>3DR backpedals
>What the FUCK do you MEAN you're leaving in that tiny texture on a shampoo bottle???

If anyone wants to play it and hasn't pirated it yet, put these into an install of eDuke32.

Reviews should be alliwed after 2 hours of playtime minimum.

That would be a good option, I think. Review bombs would still exist, but now you'd need to actually have played the game.

Holy shit it was a mistake to come back to this channel. All you do is misinterpret data deliberately to bitch and cry about inane and trivial things, just like oestrogen lead women.
